I called for an appointment and they were able to get me in the next day and work around my schedule. The young man I spoke with on the phone was very sweet and took his time explaining the nail services to me and the pricing! Kayla did my nails and did a wonderful job. She was fast, but thorough and attentive to every detail. She also didn’t butcher my cuticles and leave me in pain like every other nail tech I’ve been to usually does!! I had to leave for another appointment elsewhere and came back that evening for a pedicure with Megan. Also a very sweet girl who is great at what she does! My pedicure was very relaxing. All of the staff was friendly and professional, overall a great environment! Would definitely recommend

I can’t speak highly enough of Jenna. She was so flexible, friendly, relaxing and good at her job that she made a Brazilian (ouch) as pleasant an experience as it could possibly be. She asked me questions, kept conversation flowing and distracted me. She was also quick! Jenna also did my eyebrows and I’m highly impressed by her attention to detail. I recently booked an appointment at United Artist Salon & Spa on Monday, February 19, 2018. I was looking for months to find the best salon, that I could trust and feel comfortable at. I was ready for a change, and needed someone I could trust to chop off my very long hair. It has been growing since the last time I cut it, back in 2011. Back then I had a traumatic experience and haven’t cut my hair since. Yes I have gotten trims. But upon coming to United Artist, even calling and asking questions, the receptionist was happy to help and loved what I was doing. The where able to fit me in the day I called (thank god or I would have changed my mind), and I was very lucky to have JUSTINA! She was so cool and made my experience so amazing. She was able to talk to me and hold awesome conversations which really calmed my nervous. She talked me through everything and made sure to let me know everything she was doing. She was not pushy at all with anything, the went with the flow and I loved that! She cut 8 inches off and made sure I still looked great! 10/10 recommend! The place is cute and clean, and the atmosphere is great! Thanks again to everyone at United Artist, you definitely gained a regular. 🙂 Michaela

My 1st visit to this great business. The weather was extremely hot, thus I was dragging. While checking in, I was offered a glass of cucumber water, and did that hit the spot, things were looking up. When it was my apt. time with Lisa, one of the men’s haircut whizzes, I had a shampoo and scalp massage, 1st time ever, very tingly. Things were really looking up at this point. Next, time for the cut. Lisa is very meticulous when it comes to cutting hair and has a great personality to go along with her styling skills. All done, I felt like a million bucks!

I booked a small bridal spa day here and we loved it! Two out of the group had massages and reflexology and they could not have been happier. I personally had a facial and a manicure and both were fantastic. Throughout the week leading up to our day I had several changes, Ashley was so accommodating and patient with our group! They had little goody bags and orange juice ready when we got there, and those little things go a very long way! We will absolutely be going back!

Everyone at UA is very friendly and welcoming! Carrie has been doing my hair for over a year now and I am always happy with the results, she is an excellent hairstylist as well as the rest of the staff. Very highly recommended salon.

I had a massage by James and it was A++! I went to the salon with my sister and daughter and the spa was very accommodating scheduling 3 massages at the same time. The waiting area was relaxing and the clean professional appearance of the massage room was inviting. With James being an excellent masseur the experience was EXCELLENT! Both my sister and daughter said their massages were out of this world too! The spa nailed it with massages!!! By the way the price is excellent too! I will return hopefully sooner than later!

Excellent salon. I was with Kristen and she took wonderful care of me, made me look wonderful for a special event, and fixed a misunderstanding that occurred through no fault of hers so that my expectations were met. Kristen is amazing with make up and really listens to what you want and works with you to give to exactly that. I would recommend this salon (and, particularly, Kristen) to anyone looking for one in Reading.

I would upload a photo if I could. Should have known for the price. I paid $20 for a hair wash and dry, and awful curls the day of my brothers wedding. I asked the day I booked, if I could just someone to curl my hair, they said this was the way to do it. The wash and scAlp massage were nice, but I had to go buy a straightener that cost more than the appointment itself to fix my bumpy, frizzy, hair. I don’t like to make a hassle and the guy was just doing it to get done, rather than fight it I just got out of there ASAP to do damage control myself. Good thing I did because I still was almost last to the wedding because I was in the salon for almost 2 hours even though I was told during booking it would take about 45 minutes. They prompted me to leave a review after I left, and did so. No one ever reached out despite my high disappointment.
