Critical: ProfessionalismI am not sure how this place has 4.5 stars. My wife had a very similar experience to the bad reviews here. Online appointment didn’t “take” and felt very unwelcome. Reception forced 20% gratuity up front. She brought the reception phone in the room and answered it 3 times. She left the room twice. My wife developed a pimple on her forehead from the table. I am not sure how this place has 4.5 stars. My wife had a very similar experience to the bad reviews here. Online appointment didn’t “take” and felt very unwelcome. Reception forced 20% gratuity up front. She brought the reception phone in the room and answered it 3 times. She left the room twice. My wife developed a pimple on her forehead from the table. What is so unfortunate, it was my wive’s first massage and left very hesitant to get another somewhere else.

I thought I had made an appointment online, but it apparently didn’t “take” because when I walked in, both ladies at the desk appeared surprised to see me. I asked if they could take me then, and they looked hesitant, even though the place was empty and the sign on the door said “Walk-Ins Welcome.” They grudgingly agreed and I asked for the $60 combo. They wanted payment up front and informed me that there was a 20% tip expected. I had never been asked for money before a massage, but I gave them $80 (a 33% tip), at which point they took me to the back and one woman massaged me while both women stayed in the room and chatted loudly during my entire massage. Massage was terminated at the stroke of the hour, even though I had vastly overpaid. Not relaxing, not welcoming, never again.Very disappointed.
