My first time at the salon. Maryam did an excellent job! Definitely recommend! I got a shampoo, cut and blowdry and was done in 25 minutes. The cut is perfect. Her price is very reasonable. I will be back!

I’ve been looking for a new hair stylist closer to my house and I finally found one!! Maryam did my cut and highlights and I love it!! my hair was pretty damaged and she fixed it up looking healthy and the perfect color blonde no yellow tones like I wanted! I got my hair done here 3 times! The first time I genuinely enjoyed my hair and how it turned out. I thought it was well priced and the stylist was super nice. The only issue I had the first time was how much hair spray she used in my hair whilst styling it, but nothing major! The second time I went I wasn’t as in love with my hair (I had gotten a balyage both times) and I felt like I was paying 100$ for my hair to look exactly the same as before. so the third and final time I went in I wanted to switch it up and get highlights so I could be more blonde! when scheduling my appointment weeks in advance I let the stylist Maryam know that is what I wanted and she said that was fine. however when I showed up and told her that I still wanted to switch it up and get the highlights she got snippy and gave me an attitude about it. she was super rough with my hair that time and rushed through it. It probably took her half the time it should have, she then abruptly finished my hair when one of her friends came in and just made me sit with bleach on my hair for way too long while she did her friends hair and complained about her personal life! she took several phone calls through out my appointment and just seemed totally uninterested in doing my hair. she then cut my hair extremely uneven and let me walk out of her salon with the worst hair I have ever had. I knew from the moment she finished that it was bad but I didn’t realize just how bad it was until I had to get it fixed. as you can see from the pics I included it is super streaky and not at all blended and she left lots of bleed spots all over my head! she had to have noticed how awful it looked when she was drying it but she just let me walk out and didn’t say anything. I had to go to another salon to get it fixed as I did not trust her to fix it. I also asked for my money back once I truly realized how bad it was because I don’t think I should have had to pay for what she did and she spoke to me very unprofessionally and made it seem like she did not care about her clients or her work. I do not recommend going here because while she can do hair good, the bad outweighs the good! the mistakes made are not worth putting your hair through! I think Maryam is a very nice woman and she probably does care about her clients and her job, it just sadly did not reflect on my hair!

I went to a few salons and they said it would be hard to fix.. I came across Unique hair salon and Maryam completely fixed my hair! The place was very clean and organized. Maryam is the only person I trust with my hair. This was my second time going to her to get my balayage done and trim she does a great job every time! Her prices are very reasonable l really do recommend her for color and cut! I live in Cockeysville but I’d still see Maryam for my hair needs, hands down. Shes a great person, good heart.
