Critical: Professionalism, QualitySo I scheduled an appointment with Debbie and when she sat me down in her chair and asked me what I wanted I stated originally that I wanted silver/gray hair and attempted to pull up inspirational photos. Before I could even finish my sentence or show her the pictures she cut me off and said “no, not possible”. I thought she was joking, and started to laugh it off, but she continued to say no. So I asked her what her “well, what about red like all over my head?”. She just replied with, “Ugh, you are just so extreme.”, she was like well it might take it’s gonna take a lot of work and kept rephrasing it’s a lot of work. She had the hair color displays in hand and was trying to ignore my ideas for my own hair and I kept insinuating that I wanted bright red. So I settled for bleaching the bottom/under section of my hair and then to dye it bright red. Once she started bleaching my hair I could already tell that she wasn’t doing the best job. Now I’m no professional but I do know that she was just slapping on bleach lazily and didn’t seem to care too much about my hair. She led me over to wash the bleach out, she was extremely rough with washing my hair out, by the end of washing just to bleach out my neck was hurting and stiff. Once she sat me back down to start the coloring process, I noticed that my hair was extremely blotchy and all sorts of orange/yellow, which I know is natural for bleaching dark hair, but not that amount of spottiness. After a while she came back with “red” hair dye I noticed that it was more of a dark coral color, which is not what I asked for. She started to put in the color and stated it’ll take a while, so I’m waiting and scrolling through my phone as time passes. One time I look up and she’s cleaning these cabinets behind me with a rag and spraying some sort of chemical onto the rag then she walks up to me then wipes my hair with the same rag that she was cleaning the cabinets with. I was too shocked to say anything, I just couldn’t believe it happened. After going through the rough process of washing out the hair dye, I was just so disappointed with the result! I asked for bright red and got orange and maroon hair? Luckily I only did the under section of my hair so I can just wash it and wait to fade out! I had such high expectations because of all the great reviews but was so so disappointed! The staff was very friendly, and Peyton was a sweetheart with me and my son. She took her time and was patient even though he cried for the first part. I took my son to get his haircut this morning. Peyton did an amazing job. The staff was very friendly, and Peyton was a sweetheart with me and my son.
