One of the best places to get your hair cut in the Detroit metro area. I have had several staff members cut my hair and they have all did a great job, however my go to now is Chris C. He has several years of experience working with hair and is able to perfect many different hair styles with his attention to detail. I’ve been here a total of about 4-5 times now w a re-occurring Apt every two weeks. My first haircut I didn’t like at all but I blame myself. I don’t know the barber shop lingo or numbers and I guess I said the wrong thing. That was frustrating because I expected more a consult then a cut on my first visit. Second time I go in googled the right terms and had pics of what I wanted and got a great cut. Third time no problem. Cut to todays Apt, he cut off all my hair and cut my hair DRY nobody has ever cut my hair dry. I am trying to grow out the top I have been very clear about this and yet he still takes the entire sides of what I’m trying to grow out off. Being a trans man I felt this would be a great place to go, and I have seen others come out w great cuts. There’s a small possibility he just doesn’t remember what I said but that is frustrating when I’m spending $50 every two weeks. I will be looking for another barber I gave this place a really fair shot and I’m not saying anything about the staff either everyone is very friendly. Maybe I chose the wrong barber to have the experience I was looking for but I cannot recommend this place to friends of mine.

I have had good cuts from a barber named Sharon here but she no longer works there. My wedding is in 4 days and I was expecting to go back to Sharon and get my haircut cleaned up a couple weeks ago. I decided to try out another barber Daniel. I was trying to describe the haircut I wanted and it was difficult to know if he was understanding my request. I have longer hair and wanted layers which I mentioned from the start. By the end of the cut I looked like a coconut and Daniel then mentioned he didn’t know how to do layers…after the cut. So what do you do.. you just leave because they can’t get the job done.
