I really needed a haircut and a beard trim and Uncle J’s was able to get me right in the next day and the guys were an absolute joy to be around while getting my hair done. This was my first time there and the staff made me feel like I’ve been coming there for years. They told me that one of their big standards is to let everyone feel like family and in my opinion mission accomplished. I can think of no other place in town that I could recommend more to go get your haircut hang out talk some sports I just have an all-around good time. I also need to give direct props to my barber Duke who took the time to transfer me from looking like a homeless man into looking like a professional.

I brought my 2 year old son into the Clive barber shop. As a single mom it’s my first time at a barber shop and my sons, he’s got a hair cut before but at a kids salon.Jason man handled my son and told me to sit down while my son was hyperventilating and screaming ( he clearly was traumatized) I specifically didn’t want my sons curls cut off and he trimmed them all the way down so they wouldn’t curl. As my first time at a barber shop I had better expectations.. I had one barber step in to help
