Got a decent haircut…but the barber kept saying he didn’t recommend a skin fade while cutting my hair, and even after I insisted that yes, I wanted to go shorter, as I’ve been getting a skin fade for 10 years, he didn’t give me one! I had to keep asking him to go shorter and shorter until it wasn’t worth it anymore. You’ll get a fine haircut, but not necessarily the one you ask for!

I remember soon after moving to NJ from NYC, I needed a haircut and was searching the area for a barbershop, a real barbershop, not a salon. As soon as I walked in, I knew I found it. That was 7 years ago and I have been a regular ever since. Frank runs a quality shop and consistently provides excellent haircuts. He also happens to be great guy with a good sense of humor. It always feels like you’re visiting with a good friend.

A short time after my hair got butchered at a local Great Clips, I decided to try out Uncle Franks since it had good reviews. I walked into the shop and was immediately greeted. The shop is nice and clean and very welcoming. Frank was very helpful in determining what I wanted done to my hair. Frank walked me through his technique for different parts of my hair, he certainly knows what he’s doing. My haircut was very clean and professionally done. When my hair gets too long to handle, I will be back at Uncle Franks! Professional, Kind and Welcoming.

First time there today. Seated right away and greeted very nicely and professionally from Uncle Frank and Franco. Always nervous going to new barber, but Franco gave me a great haircut and overall experience was very pleasant right down to the warm shaving cream straight razor finish.. Will definitely be back.

Went here for the first time today and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, great haircut and great price. 3-4 other people came and went as I waited and it was like an episode of Cheers..they clearly have loyal regulars and beers were offered to all.

Was visiting New York for a wedding and I decided to get a haircut and a shave. Bound uncle Frank’s Barber by accident and I would recommend it to everyone. I grew up in New York and now live in Florida and we don’t have a lot of barber shops here or should I say real barber shops here. I forgot how great a hot towel feels it truly is a lost art.

I’ve gotten my haircut many different places but always come back to Frank to get it back to where it should be. Frank is a great hardworking guy and gives me the best haircuts every time I go in. I regularly pay up to $40 for a cut elsewhere but Frank’s cuts are superior to anywhere else I’ve been.
