I had a wonderful first time visit. I had a pedicure with Mackenzie and she was wonderful! Very fun lovely person. I enjoyed the pedicure very much. The spa is very beautiful inside, feels refreshing and airy. They have a lot of jewelry, hair products and accessories, candles and beautiful gift options inside as well. I highly recommend if you want to feel relaxed and at home at a salon/spa.

I just received an excellent massage from Nancy! I’ve been going to a place in Fresno for the last year, as I didn’t realize there were comparable services in Merced. I was thrilled to find that Nancy was fantastic and could help me with areas my prior massage therapist didn’t notice. I’m excited to have regular bodywork closer to home and of higher quality. I also love that I can book services online.

This is my second time in this shop and I was on the plant side. I was looking for a plant holder and was asking a blond worker questions. She was very unprofessional just telling me it was everywhere and not being clear with specific directions. She seemed bothered by my party’s presence. She was rude and profiling us since we are Latinos. At checkout I asked for a bag and she seemed bothered. Since it was heavy and delicate pot holder I asked for another bag. As my friend was checking out she felt an awkward stare coming from her towards the group. It was as if she was assuming that we were going to steal after completing our purchase. It left a bitter taste in my mouth and I will not be returning. Thank you for not support your community.

Very unprofessional. I was inquiring about wedding hair (and we would have done other spa services the day before for all of the bridesmaids and other important wedding guests). It probably would have totalled well over $2000 dollars in business. I called three times, left a message once and talked to someone there twice. I left my contact information and waited several days before each inquiry. I was very excited to try out this salon (they came recommended by a friend) but I can’t imagine doing business with them considering they can’t be bothered to call back.

Beautiful, well equipped salon with very talented and friendly stylists. Sammi has been coloring my hair now for over a year and I am always very happy with results. UN.RAVEL salon & spa has recently grown in size, services and products and is definitely helping in the efforts to revitalize downtown Merced. I can highly recommend Sammi Freitas and her Salon.
