I have been dealing with a medical/skin/allergic rash on my lower limbs, for the past 18 days, a condition that came on while on my 2 week vacation at Salisbury Beach – I went to urgent care in Amesbury, as well as 2 trips to the Anna Jacques Hospital er in Newburyport, for treatment/diagnosis, but explanation was vague and steroids did not clear the rash – yesterday when the condition worsened I decided to go to the Umass Lake Ave ER – the staff and Drs were not only extremely pleasant, but also compassionate and knowledgeable – a diagnosis was almost immediate – a consult with on call dermatologist Mark Scharf also confirmed the er dr diagnosis – an appt was set-up for me at the Umass Hanneman Dermatologists office – upon arriving at that office this morning, I was greeted by a very pleasant friendly admin rep, this pleasant and caring manner was exemplified by Dr Mark Scharf and his assisting Dr Jones, nurses and check out staff – I cannot praise this staff enough – not only do I know have knowledge of my condition, but the warmth, the compassion and genuine concern put me at ease…. Thank you for this experience
