1 star rating due to significantly hateful, openly rude, unfriendly, inappropriate staff. With the exception of the person who did my hair (whom I will not name because she shouldn’t be associated with a 1 star since she was most definitely a 5 star cosmetologist in a 1 star salon), the other hair stylists were verbally, openly hateful about other customers to the point of all, but the one helping me, hide in what I’m guessing is a break room maybe, then reluctantly resurfacing coming out after many minutes to help new customers and before my eyes give my hairdresser death stares like serial killer vibes *chills*, saying things openly about her to each other in front of customers, belittling, hateful remarks making the other 2 customers, easily read by body language, uncomfortable as well. Since I didn’t know if it was just me reading into this, I looked around and quickly realized I was Not the only one who felt this way. Upon saying something to my stylist, she shrugged at my comments and simply stated “It’s okay. I’m used to it and ignore it. I’m here to work, not for middle school drama if that is what you’re seeing. I really love my job because of nice customers like you.” I teared up because she taught me something with her kind words and showing me actions truly speak louder than words. Hopefully the owner reads this and goes through security footage, actually listening to it. You other stylists and management should be utterly ashamed of yourselves. ***Edited to 2 stars since owner said he would handle issues pics show employees openly on cellphones acting incredibly unprofessional

Went here last year to get a trim and get my hair thinned. The girl thinned it out too much in the middle so I had to go back the next day and get it fixed. Wasn’t going to go back but decided to give it another shot today. Asked for a trim and thinning. One side is shorter than the other so I’ll be going back tomorrow to get it fixed and I WILL NOT EVER GO BACK. They don’t care enough to take their time and do it right. Go to a local salon that’s privately owned like blown away or platinum hair salon.

I literally asked for half an inch cut and layers and I have no layers and the hairdresser Stephanie ended up cutting off like 5 inches instead. I have usually enjoyed their haircuts but do not go to her, she will end up cutting off half your hair instead of what you asked for. My hair was at my lower back, now it’s my shoulder blades. Not a good hairdresser.

Upon arrival this business was polite, nice to courteous with smiles. We don’t get a lot of that in Lufkin so I am so thankful. Ms Nancy was phenomenal, I showed her a photo of what I wanted once and she did it. Never in my 41 years has a stylist made me feel so welcomed. Busy salon with hardly any wait. Very reasonable prices for a wash, cut, and blowout. I think you can make appointments, but they’re not necessary. Very clean, fast, and professional stylists. My next move may be chemicals. I’ll post about that as well if I get up the nerve to go that route.

I took my wife here to get her hair colored blue. It was her first dye job ever. They get three stars for their overall customer service. When asking questions about the work that was going to be done, I felt like I was pulling teeth to get answers and the girl I talked to came across very abrasive. The work however came out great. If you don’t mind less than stellar customer service and want good work, go check them out.
