Horrible customer service from management. I went to return something and the manager was incredibly aggressive with me and demanded answers in a very sharp tone. She had an attitude and when she couldn’t figure out how to help me she stormed off without another word. She made me feel incredibly unwelcome. I work in retail and I understand that the holiday season is rough but that is no excuse for treating guests like that when said guest isn’t being rude or causing problems.

Recently I had an awful experience with VICTORIA at Ulta – who claimed to be a manager (but is likely supervisor or assistant manager). She was rude, unhelpful, lied, contradicted other associates and clearly doesn’t understand customer service and building goodwill and loyalty. I was offended by her, and she’s a liability in a sales environment where Ulta isn’t selling anything unique, and customers can easily take their business and spend their $$$ anywhere else after a bad experience – which is what I will do. When I called later to reach the real store manager, Victoria answered the phone and when I asked to speak to the store manager instead of her, she was again rude and claimed she didn’t know when the manager (Lynn) would be in – she clearly knew someone was calling to complain about her! I called another day and left a message with another associate for Lynn, who hasn’t returned my call. Disappointed by this store, will spend my money elsewhere.

I was in the store today and asked an associate (didn’t get her name but had short dark hair and neck tattoos) where a certain product was kept and she just pointed without saying anything. We couldn’t find it and all she did again was point. So rude and ruined the rest of my shopping experience and avoided the section that this associate was standing in. Hiring rude people is not a good look for Ulta’s brand.

What an awesome experience I had on yesterday with Marcy and Jasmine! I’m an artist so it takes the certain type of person to handle me. I know when I’m being sold versus truly being heard and getting what I need! You ladies made me feel like I was hanging out with my girlfriends.
