Critical: QualityI never leave bad reviews but my God this salon caused me a lot of stress this week! I was a regular client here for 3 years & always recommended them to everyone. However this time I went for ash blond highlights as usual but the stylist had booked several of her appointments back to back, she rushed my highlights and I ended up with ORANGE hair that was done very unclean and unprofessional. I had also asked her for a cut which she had first agreed to but then told me she has no time. I’ve since dyed my hair 2 more times to get a reasonable look. I’m so disappointed! I came here yesterday to get my hair cut due to it being over grown and messy. I had entered the store with high hopes and I left the place in tears. the layers that I had wanted were uneven and choppy and what was done was extremely far from what I had shown the lady. I really couldn’t find any skillful hairstylist who has a customer-caring mind near my house, and a friend of mine let me know this U&G Hair salon which is located in Gainesville. First time, honestly, I was hesitating to visit there because it takes almost 30 minutes from where I live, (yes I prefer the places very close from my house) but now the U&G became my best place to be relaxed for my new styles. The head stylist, Sue extremely concerns of my needs and my hair conditions whenever she provides me a consultation before starting the service. Highly recommend for your new and trendy look. Also love their very simple online booking system which is available to make a reservation depending on my schedule.
