I came here the other day and I walked in and waited for a few minutes which was fine. But when I was seated and my nails were starting to be worked on, I told the lady that I wanted my nails to be Almond shaped. She completely did them wrong and I had to ask her to reshape some of them. She filed One of my thumbnails on the side too short. To were now it hurts and I have to wear a Band-Aid because it was bleeding. I also told her that I did not like the color and she did not listen. Also I told her that she did not have to refile my thumbnails that they were fine and she did it anyway. Which caused it to be too short on one side. I am definitely not the kind of person to come on here and review but to me this was ridiculous I have went to so many nail places trying to find the right one and I feel like everywhere I go there’s something wrong. But I also feel bad to be rude and actually speak my mind when I’m there so I still pay and tip really good Because I used to be a server. But while she was doing my nails there was a couple that came in behind me and they walked out because they were not seen. And she told me she thought that they were my parents. I am 21 years old and I came there by myself I don’t understand why she assumed that these people were my parents when they even signed the chart she asked them to, So the lady can get her nails done. I am sorry but this is just the worst experience I have ever had.

Terrible. She said her pricing is $35 but she upped it to $45 because she couldn’t do the design (which she did anyway and messed up). She didn’t inform me she didn’t have the skill set to do my nails but I could tel when they were finished. Also super unprofessional, left my friend waiting for 10 minutes while her husband (who I’m pretty sure isn’t a licensed nail technician) was doing her nails. I hate my nails. Also for reference the nails were supposed to be a shorter version of the one I showed her but if she couldn’t do that, it was her job to tell me.

I don’t normally write reviews but this was a doozy. Went in on a Friday, asked for a dip set. She started using this gel hybrid which was fine and turned out really pretty. I paid and tipped her well. Within 24 hours my nails all started to fall off, one by one. I started out with nail glue because I’m not the type to go back to a location and complain. Well, once all of my nails started popping off I went back on Tuesday and asked to have them redone. I had explained some were glued down but would like them redone. She only fixed the ones that were missed or crooked and by fixed I mean she just layered more junk on them so now they looked way worse than what they were before. She was rude to my friend who wanted her dip set redone because of smudging and peeling within the same 24 hour time span. It was a less than pleasant experience and I wouldn’t recommend. The owner gets very upset if you point out mistakes and takes it out on you and your fingers.

I’m not a review person but I’m super unhappy with my service here. My nails were jagged when I left, my right hand nails are round shaped and left hand nails are almond shaped, and I have multiple wounds on my fingers from aggressive drilling and filing. The dip powder is already chipping from my cuticle area & the tips of my nails and I got them done yesterday. I paid $38 not including tip for dip on natural nails.

Critical: Quality, ValueCame here for a fill after they did my original set. During the fill, the lady drilled through the acrylic and my regular and into my skin…. on 2 different nails… she painted right over my bleeding skin with polish. Ouch! it was painful when it happen, hurt bad for atleast 4 weeks and my nails got infected, bruised and didn’t fully heal until new nail growth came in about 3 months later. the lady never acknowledged that she did anything wrong. Came here for a fill after they did my original set. During the fill, the lady drilled through the acrylic and my regular and into my skin…. on 2 different nails… she painted right over my bleeding skin with polish. I called ahead about an hour to see if they had availability for gel acrylic. I got there and I waited maybe 10 minutes to be seated. The space is nice and clean, and the tech who did my nails was very courteous always asking me if the shape was okay and how I was doing. she was very friendly and did a pretty good job. Highly recommend, fast clean and efficient.

I have been going to u nails for 3 years! I love them. They are very detail orientated. I’ve never had a problem with my nails. Also I’ve gone as long as 4 weeks between fills without a chip or crack.

I gave them a try when they opened. Subpar job so I complained to the owner who was really nice, and offered to make it right for free my next visit since I didn’t have time to get my nails done again. Tried them again it was okay at best, but they’re still more expensive than better places like the one right around the corner. I give them one last shot a year later, and I regret it. I needed my nails removed, and they dug my nails off as roughly as they could. I left my nails were severely damaged, and the guy who did it caused physical pain. I yanked my had away when he persisted on digging sharp objects in my nails, and told him they clearly needed to be soaked longer! Most other places soak, file, soak until complete. I KNEW I should’ve gone where I normally do, but they were really busy, and U Nails was empty… and it’s very evident why. This was the single worst experience I’ve EVER had at a nail salon. Never EVER again for ANY reason.
