U Nails

Critical: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismI have been using U nails for a while I never had a bad experience. I was a loyal customer. Well I went Saturday Feb. 20.2021 to have a fill in. I was at work on Wednesday Feb 24 2021 and my ring finger on my right hand hurt severely. It was red, swollen and angry. Well I went to urgent care that night, the Dr gave me antibiotics, she stated I had bacteria introduced under my nail, and in my nail bed. She asked me did they cut into my nail, and the answer is yes. Mia grinded into my nail bed. Well Thursday Feb 25, 2021 I had to go back to the Dr. because my finger had swollen 3 times the normal size and fit to bust. My family medical provider stated also I have an infection from bacteria introduced under my nail. She had to refer me to a general surgeon to have the infection removed. I went and talked to them at Unails and they were denying that I got it from there. Even though they grinded into my nail with the sanding tool. They stated they clean their tools with acetone and lights. Well I know they can not put the sand paper grinding tool in acetone, because it will cause it to disintegrate. They tried to proclaim that the UV lights used to cure the gel would have killed any bacteria. They basically just dismissed it and made up excuses. I would not have left a star if Google didn’t force me to. I had to choose 1 star to be able to post my review. Think twice before having your nails done. It definitely wasn’t worth what I’m going through. I have been using U nails for a while I never had a bad experience. I was a loyal customer. Well I went Saturday Feb. 20.2021 to have a fill in. I was at work on Wednesday Feb 24 2021 and my ring finger on my right hand hurt severely. It was red, swollen and angry. Critical: ProfessionalismI’ve been going here for a couple years and have always loved them. But yesterday on my birthday I went to get a fill in and the older lady “mama” insisted I needed a full set. She was very rough getting my nails off , because all of them didn’t need to be taken off. So she had to soak them because she was pulling off my real nail. I asked for a small Heart on one finger but after 2 tries I said Nevermind because it didn’t look right and I had already been there 2 1/2 hours. I gave her a 10 tip for her troubles and went to pay and they said $52. I said it’s never been that high before. He said it was because they had to take off the old ones which I didn’t ask for them to. They were talking in their language and laughing it was so rude because I could understand a little bit of it and they were obviously talking about me. So $62 later my fingers hurt because she was so rough and they look terrible close up. I will not be going back. That’s how they treat a long time customer that’s has came in once a month for years!! I’ve been going here for a couple years and have always loved them. But yesterday on my birthday I went to get a fill in and the older lady “mama” insisted I needed a full set. She was very rough getting my nails off , because all of them didn’t need to be taken off. So she had to soak them because she was pulling off my real nail. I wore sandles and waited the full time under dryer before I left which was about 5:30.I didn’t put shoes on till around 9p when I got ready to go out for new years. When I got home and took shoes off both big toes were ruined. Polished all smeared up. Then today both my thumb nails have broke and just peal off like my regular nail. I’m hoping when they open back up Tuesday that someone will make this right because not only was I there for a very long 2 1/2 hours having this done I was charged almost $84 with 2 credit card fees added because I paid with debit and gift card. I wore sandles and waited the full time under dryer before I left which was about 5:30.I didn’t put shoes on till around 9p when I got ready to go out for new years.
