Truly the best pedicure and manicure–acrylic fill–I’ve ever had! The luxury pedicure was worth the extra $10. Amazing foot and leg massage. A lit of attention to details. I appreciated the lights turned down and music for a very relaxing ambiance. My nails were incredibly done! Not too thick–the right length and shape. Really beautiful! We were in town for a visit to the Mayo Clinic. This salon was close to our hotel. Really thankful that I decided to come in.

I’ve been going to UC Nails for a few months and they do a wonderful job! They’re competitively priced for being in such a convenient location (near Trader Joe’s and the mall) and the quality and attention to detail is excellent. It’s a small salon but they’re able to customers for same day appts. I recommend calling in advance for acrylics but they take walk ins for gel/regular manis and pedis.

I believe I had the owner (beautiful amazing woman). She took her time and asked me every step of the way if everything was to my liking. I also noticed the other nail techs take their time and do an amazing job with their clients. She didn’t rush when other customers came which I was so happy about. They care about each customer and take the time needed. I wasso surprised at how much of a nice experience I had. More people should come here! It’s a gem! Beautiful amosphere with calming music. The floral arrangement and paint color is so beautiful there. They have beautiful paintings up as well. I am definitely only coming to this nail salon. If I could give a negative number of stars I would. I called ahead to check prices for a acrylic fill with shellac top coat earlier in the month and was quoted a price of $25 for the fill and $5 for the shellac top coat. I brought my own polish as I have a specific color & type that I love and own. They aren’t common in salons because they are very expensive. And due to this to be sure it was the right kind I bought my own shellac. My own products were used. The fill was not done very well as my nails were rough around the edges and one nail has already cracked up where my real nail bed is because of how thin it was done. It’s been just over a week. I was called a liar about the photo I showed to show the design which was also the design I came in with. One person (a woman) took off my previous shellac and top coat and then a man took over. He did the fill and that started the polish he put to many layers of polish on and didn’t give enough time for it to dry. And then did the shellac. He had to restart at least once with the polish itself because he did the design wrong. He called my a liar when I tried to point out the issue. And when he was all done and asked if they were right I said no. He said sorry they weren’t done to my satisfaction and got up and left. A woman is the one that wiped my nails down after the shellac was done and “dried”. I got up paid and started to leave and realized I was charged $20 more then I was told it should be. When I went back and pointed this out I was told it was something to do with gel nail polish and that is was correct. I actually filed a complaint with the BBB and was just called back by the man from UC Nails that did the majority of the work and all he did was tell me how wrong I was and that the price was right because I had gel polish and that was the cost for the procedure. Now I get my nails done monthly (granted somewhere else usually) but for more then $5 years I’ve had a shellac coat over regular polish and NEVER had this much trouble. And it only coat me $5 for the top coat, and that was with it being provided by the person who did my nails). This was the worst possible experience I have ever had! I attached photos to show the state my nails were in when I got home 10 minutes later. It’s hard to see but they are horribly wrinkled. I had to reapply the shellac on my own and they are still not the best looking.

Said no to what I wanted, my nails starting falling off after 6 days, my mom lost 3 in a week, and the guy was very full of himself yet I could’ve done those nails at home myself. We also got pedicures and mine was mediocre, definitely nothing special but we only got the basic. Hated almost everything about the experience. Will never be going back and will be telling everyone else not to go as well.

I had a great experience at UC Nails today. I had set up an appointment, but happened to be able to come in sooner which they were more than okay with. Van gave me a great French Tip pedicure and lovely massage. Chin did my acrylic full set and it looked great. They both made sure that everything was to my liking.
