This place is disgusting. I went to get a wax and the bed was dirty and full of hair, wax buildup all over her tools, and dirt and dust everywhere. The towels she gave me were old and ripped up and dirty.

I do not like writing negative reviews at all, let alone one about a small company, but after my experience yesterday I am left no choice. Although the workers were very polite and kind, the services provided were not up to par. This was my first time attending this salon, and I wholeheartedly trusted it based on outstanding reviews and friend recommendations. I was wrong to do so. To begin, I asked for a strawberry blonde/ginger ombré on my hair and provided a picture. Cassie said that she could do so easily and was very professional at first. Throughout the process, she got bleach on my arm and shirt. This began to cause skin irritation and ruined my shirt. In addition to this, when my hair was finished, I had been given chunky, uneven, ginger and blonde highlights. It was nothing like what I asked for. My appointment started at 12:00 PM and my hair was finished at 4:00 PM. After 4 hours (highlights on my hair usually take 2 hours max, and I didn’t want highlights to begin with) my skin irritation from the bleach worsened and I decided I just wanted to pay and leave so that I could handle it and not leave the salon crying. I was charged $150 and out of the kindness of my heart even tipped her 15% because I wanted to be done with the ordeal and didn’t know if she was having an off-day based on her previous glowing reviews. I regret doing so now. My roommate got her hair done too after, a cut, bleaching, and complete coloring, and it only came out to $140. When she pressed her on the pricing she told my roommate that she gave her a discount because she liked her more and I was a first-timer (even though my roommate was a first-timer herself). I am astonished by the unprofessional experience I had and will be getting my hair fixed at a different location. I have photographic evidence to prove this ordeal as well. I hope other people have better luck here if they decide to get styled by Cassie. I will never be returning.
