I had NEVER had my nails look sooooo AWFUL. First off I’ve been growing my natural nails out and asked them not to be cut short by the time she was done filing she took half off them and this is the end result of her dip when I told her they didn’t look right and asked her to fix it she said “no just try and we will do different next time” she then offered to fix them after management stepped in and by that time I was already done dealing with this place and told them I would have them fixed by someone that is capable. My nails are extremely thin and lumpy and she completely ruined my real nails. I will NEVER use any of the services again Nor recommend that anyone else does.

Tye’s Nails & Spa is hands down the best nail salon I’ve been to in the state of Iowa. The staff is beyond friendly, respectful and make you feel like family. They’re all smiles and they are very dedicated to happy customers, a professional experience every time along with your choice of drink including wine for those who want the extra kick while pampering themselves. I give this place 5 stars because of the cleanliness, professionalism, respect, quality of service and staff. Will be going back very soon! Any male in the salon goes above and beyond on your nails.

literally did so bad. My nails looked absolutely horrendous. I called and requested a refund and they told me no and that they could re-do my nails. I don’t want them anywhere near my nails. They looked horrendous and the lady doing them had no idea what she was doing. Whoever the manager was when I called was so rude to me and basically told me it wasn’t her problem.

Really good work for the price! Definitely more of a simple design place, don’t expect lots of fancy stuff but simple stuff is awesome. Staff is really nice and the place is pretty. Definitely recommend. I go 2-3x a month!

I went to get pedi- dip and eyebrows. The lady there didn’t listen to me at all. I told her I had a fake nail on my right pinky. She cut it plus the nail next to it which was my nail. She proceeded to use the tool to get some of the polish off and does it so hard she takes some of my nail off with it and tells me she can fix it. My nails were so badly done 2 of then broke while washing a cabinet out and slightly hitting the back cabinet with my nails. I went back to Missouri and my nail tech couldn’t believe how poor of job was done. My eyebrows were barely waxed. The first time I visited this place I think the manager did my nails and she did an excellent job.

Tye was super nice and accommodating, but I got a shorter gal to do my nails. The shop was nice and clean. I did a mani and pedi. My pedi was mediocre. She spent a lot of time on the top and side of my legs, and not really any on my calfs and feet. My toes look okay except for the fact that my nails aren’t even. My mani is a different story. The shape of my nails are not consistent. Literally every single nail is a different shape. The nail themselves are stuck to my skin in some places. My thumb nail is horrible with no shape at all. All my nails are different lengths. I paid over 100 for both services and l am not happy with my nails. I live over an hour away. So just going in and having them fix them isn’t really an option.
