Positive: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismI recently moved into the area and needed to find a salon to have my Sisterlocs shampooed. I discovered TSS online and saw that they specialized in natural hair care. It was easy to schedule a hydration treatment online. I was impressed, when you first walk in the salon is open, clean, inviting and the Ladies friendly and welcoming. Unlike “make you wait” salons, Ashley started my appointment early. I was offered coffee, tea hot chocolate or water while under the dryer which also impressed me. I love plants and they have a beautiful arrangement of various types that are thriving unlike some places where plants are dead or dying. I was offered the opportunity for TSS to be my backup salon if needed which truly made me decide that I will be returning for all services that I need that they provide. The prices are fair, the salon clean, the Ladies personable and professional. I recently moved into the area and needed to find a salon to have my Sisterlocs shampooed. I discovered TSS online and saw that they specialized in natural hair care. It was easy to schedule a hydration treatment online. I was impressed, when you first walk in the salon is open, clean, inviting and the Ladies friendly and welcoming. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityAfter completing my install, my stylist’s (Drea) books were scheduled out for months, so I always had a difficult time making an appt. I had to patronize another salon just to keep up with my reties,but tried to stay in touch with Drea since she was my consultant. She had the nerbe to state she wouldnt do my hair since I went somewhere else. Girllll, you are always booked out for months. I could never get on her schedule at an opportune time, and I refuse to take off work for hair, so the salon BANNED me because I went to someone else. Banning someone for going to alternate locations to keep up with reties is extra and unnecessary. Unprofessional and petty….typical Black salon madness. Goodluck making an appt!In response to the owner reply: Youre missing the point of my grievance. Again, BANNING a customer (me) for going to another salon to keep up with reties until I could schedule with my consultant was unnecessary, unprofessional, and petty. I wouldn’t expect that from a business who prides itself on “good customer service.” Shame on you if you think it’s ok to BAN customers…not for bad behavior…but for keeping up with her hair needs. This is the exact antithesis of a caring, wholesome salon…Please! After completing my install, my stylist’s (Drea) books were scheduled out for months, so I always had a difficult time making an appt. I had to patronize another salon just to keep up with my reties,but tried to stay in touch with Drea since she was my consultant. All of the stylist are super friendly, and the music definitely sets a tone. I couldn’t believe how fast I was done. Super happy with my hair and excited to return for my next retie.

I can’t wait until they grow and fully lock. Ashley gave me great tips while washing my hair and made sure that I didn’t have any questions. I’m sticking with Ashley throughout my loc journey.
