I explicitly mentioned to the hairstylist, an older white lady, that I only wanted my hair cleaned up for a formal event but to still keep it fairly long. She cut my hair super short and was off in her own world. It was verbalized to her in the middle of the cut that she was going to far and she continuing taking hair off the top of my head. She did not listen to the customer and has made it undesirae to even attend the event
