I was looking for a new salon being new to the area and I’m glad I took local recommendations to come to Twisted Scissors! Amanda was able to accommodate me the next day for a haircut (I was in desperate need of). The salon is clean and a great atmosphere. When seeking a great salon I am most impressed with how everyone treats you and from the first moment I called to my appointment, everyone was so nice. Their services are very reasonable– I would happily pay more! I’ll be back soon for color and I’m glad I found a great salon!

Amanda and Kelly are absolutely awesome. They keep my hair looking fabulous. It’s hard to find a good stylist and I trust these two completely to do whatever they have in mind with my hair. Went to Amanda for the first time a few days ago. I always dread getting my hair cut because it’s usually a horrible experience. She was amazing. I showed her what I wanted and it looks incredible. She is my new stylist! I absolutely love my cut!!!

Really nice place. Beautiful , calming inside. Nice atmosphere, the other customers are nice too and just chit chat. Amanda did my hair and i love it! Im very picky about who touches my hair but she made me feel very comfortable. She was very patient with me, I was trying to pick a new hair color and she was great at helping me decide. Perfect cut as well. Highly recommend.

Critical: Quality, ValueI went with an exact picture of what I wanted. I wanted a full color of a white undertoned blonde.( I am a natural blonde.) The color is not at all what I wanted. I walked out with patches everywhere, streaky. I’ve got a bunch of different colors and its not smooth at all. I have a dark spot on the back of my head and roots are not done at all. Looks like I cheaply box dyed my hair at home. Hair stylist was not friendly and rushing. I was not given a chance to look at my hair or given a mirror to look at the back or around. I’ve been going to Kelly and Amanda for 8+ years and love them. They know my preferences and will do anything to make my hair just like I want it. They are the best in the area! I moved to South Carolina and make it a point to get a haircut or color every time I come home to visit!
