Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueVERY poor quality, super lumpy/bumpy hard to see In picture because they are white and they are crooked. when we called to complain they talked over us and yelled at us and said that’s our problem. Not willing to do anything other than come in to fix after making us feel uncomfortable and not want to go there. When I said we wanted a refund they said we were trying to scam them. Furthest from the truth, especially over 40.00 which is a lot for a teenager paying out of her own pocket. They look terrible. I always loved this place but am so disappointed in the quality and the way we were treated. VERY poor quality, super lumpy/bumpy hard to see In picture because they are white and they are crooked. when we called to complain they talked over us and yelled at us and said that’s our problem. Not willing to do anything other than come in to fix after making us feel uncomfortable and not want to go there. When I said we wanted a refund they said we were trying to scam them. My daughter wanted her nails done. Their card says “walk ins” welcome but the lady, Tina said multiple times they are appointment only. She took us anyway but seemed bothered. She demanded i sit down while i was helping my daughter make a decision on the color. My daughter decided to get gel nails. They looked nice enough the “free” design was messy. It was a flower. The gel didn’t last a week. No better than normal polish. A couple walked in after us. They must’ve had an appointment because “Tina” was very nice to them. We won’t return.

I made an appointment for 1:30. I arrived at 1:32 and tried calling because I got stuck at a train, no one answered. When I arrived they said they didn’t have time and to come back a half hour later. Clearly she hadn’t just started doing another ladies nails. I couldn’t because I have another appointment. Then she said they scheduled me at 2 even though I said 1:30 and she said see you at 1:30. Terrible customer service. I will not be back.

I used to go here and loved it, but my last experience was the straw that broke the camels back and I’ll never return as long as Tina is supposedly the salon manager.. she flipped out at a friend who was with me saying she was dangerous and that I should call the cops. This friend called a few minutes after we left the salon and she flipped out at her over the phone for nothing. I am so appalled that she was acting the way she was. I would have filed a complaint if there was a way to but I’m not sure what they could of done. Sorry Tina but you should really get some help in customer service.

Worst pedicure ever!! $17 up charge for gel and 2 little jewels, and the jewels both fell off within 2 days! I’ve had lots of pedicures where the jewels are the last things to come off. They refused to do the first design I asked for, said the picture was fake, nobody could do that. Then after 2 weeks, the polish already started to chip. Will NEVER go back to this place even if it’s the last pedicure place on earth!!

Worst customer experience! I called at 1:30p today as online it says the are open until 5p on Sundays. I asked if there were any openings and she said they were closed. I was confused but gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked if they had any late openings tomorrow. She said what time do you want to come in and I said 6p. She answered “Wow that’s so late, why can’t you come earlier?” I told her because that’s when I’m off work, but I could tell from her tone she was annoyed and didn’t want to help so I hung up. I just checked online for their weekday hours and it says they are open until 7:30p. I used to like going here because it’s so close to my house, but after this exchange clearly their customer service has gone down the drain. From reading other reviews it seems they have employees who clearly don’t want to work and help customers.

Worst experience I’ve ever had in any service situation ever. I just moved to the area and was running errands nearby. (This took place 9/9/22)I stopped in to *ask* (bc I typically make an appointment) if they had any availability for a gel manicure. Immediately upon entering the woman working (it was approximately 12:30pm) glared at me and rather than actually answering my question about her availability she just told me to “pick a color”. I selected a color immediately, I knew what I wanted. Then I look to her to see where I should sit. She didn’t acknowledge me so I smiled at her politely and decided to quick use the restroom as she was clearly busy at the moment filling up a foot bath. I came back from the restroom within a minute or two. She told me in a very rude tone, still clearly annoyed with me to sit down. As she began to remove my existing polish I asked if they carried OPI brand. At this point she snapped. She told me that if I kept “turning things around she would not do my nails”. I was flabbergasted. All I could say was “What? I’m sorry… I don’t really know why you’re upset with me?” She replied that “I’d thrown off her entire day bc I didn’t have an appointment and I want to the bathroom”. She told me I was “rude” and “mean” and “bad”. At this point my mouth was hanging open as I’d been nothing but polite since entering and in no was expected anything from her or gave that impression that I expected her to take me on if she couldn’t. After all, I asked immediately upon entering if she has the availability for me… I then asked if she’d like me to leave and get my nails done somewhere else since my arriv had clearly upset her so much. She then began to yell in my face and continued to call me names and say I was rude. Another woman had entered at roughly the same time as I had. She began to chime in, sticking up for me, saying she’s heard the entire exchange and that I had been “sweet as pie” since I walked in and said “what’s wrong with you? You need to stop treating her this way.” I was near tears at this point and so shocked that I stood up and said that I would just go somewhere else. She then yelled at the woman sticking up for me, saying, “You don’t know her, she’s a mean bad person!”. I’m still so confused bc this worker woman didn’t know me, how would she know if I was a bad person? I’d never been into this salon before in my life. I couldn’t hold it back any longer and the shock and hurt hit me and I burst into tears and left. While sitting outside in my car trying to compose myself the other woman came out as well. Apparently the worker had told her to “get out” for sticking up for me. I am still so absolutely puzzled, shocked, and hurt by what transpired. I’ve never been treated this way and I know that I didn’t do anything to this woman bc I make it a point to be polite and respectful. I don’t think I’ve written a negative review before but this was just so outrageous I had to share. This woman should clearly not be working here. I’m not sure if everyone there is that vicious and aggressive or it’s just her.. I did end up going to another salon and shared what had happened and they told me “I’m not the first person to leave there in tears.” WHAT?! You should never leave a nail salon in tears. This is absolutely blowing my mind. So please be forewarned. This salon IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.

Never in my life have a I had this kinda experience: I had a appointment at 12:15 for a full set( mind you in the only person in the salon on a Sunday afternoon) Tina helped pick the colors and start. She was cutting my nails all to one length and literally every nail was a different length. I asked her to redo my thumbs cause they were the most noticeable in different length. Tina got a attitude instantly. She drilled the thumb off so hard it burnt my nails. Then she applied acrylic. One hand looked like I already needed a fill and my other hand my cuticles were flooded. I asked her to fix them and make it so it doesn’t look like I need a fill. She then proceeded to say I needed to get the nails chopped off. I told her I’d still pay her and go somewhere else I just didn’t want the damage my nails as they are already very thin from years of acrylic she wouldn’t let me pay for them and kept chopping. At this point there is a lady getting a pedi me and two techs. I should have known something was off when I saw they weren’t busy on a Sunday afternoon. Any person who goes to get services on your nails knows Sunday afternoons are always busy!

I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance. Someone else came in at the same time as my scheduled appointment. They helped the other couple, not us. Apparently, they never wrote my appointment down or wrote it on a different day. They said I made the mistake and called the wrong number. I reviewed my call history and I did dial the correct number. I will never go back simply because they were so rude. They blamed me for their error!

This was my first time going to Turbo Nails (8/30/19). The overall experience was terrible. I had my nails done by the manager, Tina. MISTAKE. I wanted to go to a new place that was closer to home. Long story short is that they had the SMALLEST choices for gel. I picked out the grey gel I liked. Turns out the color was probably really old and changed over time because it looked horrible. She said I could get a second color so I did. Turns out they didn’t have it. I then ended up getting a third color. I asked her if it would cost me more (it had glitter in it) and she said NO. When she was paining my nails the bottle was almost empty and wasn’t good anymore. She completely rushed the entire process which is why she didn’t completely polish my nail. Fast forward to the end when I was paying she said it was $30….?? I was told $20 for gel when I walked in so where did the extra $10 come from? No idea, but one thing I know is that this is my first and only time going there. Save your time and money and do not go here and avoid TINA AT ALL COSTS. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN.
