Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityOne of the best haircuts of my life as a new customer — I will be back. I chose Julie (recommend) when I went looking for a new stylist. She spent some time going over my hair + lifestyle and went to work. Though I was a new client, she was able to come up with what is one of my best haircuts! Parking downtown is a pain so use the paid lot across the street for easy access. It’s a beautiful location and a welcoming staff. As a side note, they let me bring my lapdog so I didn’t have to arrange for puppy daycare! If you are looking for someone who KNOWS hair — ask for Julie — she’s been in the business for decades and is a bit of a magician. One of the best haircuts of my life as a new customer — I will be back. I chose Julie (recommend) when I went looking for a new stylist. She spent some time going over my hair + lifestyle and went to work. Though I was a new client, she was able to come up with what is one of my best haircuts! I was called earlier that day to see if I wanted to come in a half hour early (much appreciated!) and we met, had a consultation and went to it. Whatever products she used to wash my hair were awesome, my hair was so shiny afterwards. She gave me exactly what I asked for…….worth repeating…..she gave me exactly what I asked for. We made small talk and she wasn’t intrusive. So many stylists either talk too much or get too intrusive. The salon itself is immaculate, even at the end of the day I didn’t see hair on the floor. New to the area, looking for a local stylist. Had an appointment with Julie for a trim. Not really wanting anything drastic until I got a feel for the place. Julie was great! I live two hours North of Tulus 3 out of the 12 months a year, and still travel the two hours just to get a simple cut. Tammy is the sweetest & knows exactly what to do with my hair type (extremely long and thick!) I’ve been coming to Tulus since I moved to the area in 2019, and I don’t trust anyone else with my hair. I live two hours North of Tulus 3 out of the 12 months a year, and still travel the two hours just to get a simple cut. Tammy is the sweetest & knows exactly what to do with my hair type (extremely long and thick!) Prices seem high, but for the cozy environment, high-class and amazing end product you really don’t question it

Critical: Quality, ValueI was actually looking for a spa that does body work, and this salon came up as having that service. I don’t know if they still have massages or not, but I did go there for a hair styling. I had left a review, but I saw that it had been deleted. My issue was that when I described the style I wanted (think big, barrel roll curls like Katherine Hepburn, or Dita Von Teese) my stylist told me it couldn’t be done. My hair was longer than shoulder length, has natural body (takes curls easily) and has been styled that way before in a different salon. The stylist ended up just using a curling iron, and then only on the edges of my hair—not my entire head. The service I got was not worth what I paid. When she said something to the stylist abut the color she stated that it would be extra! Really how much more could you possibly charge ?!?! Spoke with the owner who was very nice, but that doesn’t change the fact that she doesn’t get the color or Cut she had ask for! But it all worked out she went to another salon who fix her hair and it looks fabulous! I wouldn’t recommend this place. I’m very sorry for the bad review! My daughter went here yesterday, she was charged $333.00 for a cut and color! Didn’t get the color she had asked for at all! When she said something to the stylist abut the color she stated that it would be extra! Really how much more could you possibly charge ?!?!
