I recently saw Deanna for a cut and I had been wanting to color my hair but couldn’t decide what to do. Deanna took the time to do a through consultation and we picked a beautiful color, I was able to see her the following week. Me and my partner went for a hair cut I asked for a simple skin fade with a 2 on top and all I got was a buzz all over and the stylist missed areas. For $25 I would have been better buying a clipper set and doing it myself.

I think it’s only fair to share pictures of my experience so future customers can make informed decisions about whether or not this salon is right for them. I saw Holly who was very friendly and accommodating! I showed her the inspo pic and she said yes she could do it, and I would be charged as a balayage. It looked great in the salon lighting but as soon as I got outside I knew something was off. The highlights are very stripey and not blended or artfully placed like the photo I provided. They were accommodating and let me come back in the next day for a correction (which I ended up having to pay for out of pocket – $45) and toned the highlights so they were more subtle. Overall I feel like I should have received the correction free of charge, especially because I paid $255 for something completely different than what I asked for (But i’m not a karen and never would’ve asked, it just would’ve made sense if it were offered) Other than that customer service was great and the ladies were nice. I just wouldn’t recommend them for a balayage or any of the more modern color jobs.

I gave Cory a chance since I liked her haircut and she did great. She was friendly, courteous, and professional. She let me know in advance she would be late due to cleaning which was no problem and she wasn’t that late. The salon was clean. The other stylists were friendly too. The location is nice with some other shops we visited while waiting. The best part was she was able to fit in a trim for my one year old son last minute and she was so great with him and his hair looks so cute! Happy with our cuts. I was visiting Tucson and wanted to get rid of my past shoulder length hair since it was so hot and muggy. I gave Cory a chance since I liked her haircut and she did great. She was friendly, courteous, and professional. She let me know in advance she would be late due to cleaning which was no problem and she wasn’t that late. The salon was clean. Came in for a wash/cut/style with Clarissa today and I couldn’t be happier with how my hair turned out! She was very personable and took the time to make sure I left with a haircut I’d enjoy. I’m 74 years old and have been coming to Clarissa for a few years and was always very happy. That is why this is so hard to understand. I asked her to make my hair to be as close as possible to my 3 inch roots, (salt and pepper, mostly salt). The photos below show 1st 2 what I asked for, next 1 what I got the 1st time and then 2 of what I finally ended up with. Each time they tried to convince me it looked great. I was charged $350 for this. OUCH!!! I asked for my money back so I could go somewhere else to try and get this fixed because I didn’t trust her to do anything else for fear my hair would be too damaged. She had already stripped my hair twice. She even tried to blame it on my hair and then she had the nerve to say she didn’t change you for the second time. My daughter actually had to try and get my money back. She was only able to get half, $175, which is what she said it should have only cost in the first place. I am very very sad about my hair but even sadder about how I was treated!!! I hope no one ever has to experience anything like this. I wish I could give minus stars!!!
