I was recommended to Jesse at this shop by a current customer of his. And after my first experience I am very lucky I found this shop. These guys (led by a lady) are indeed the truth. Being a new client I was very nervous because I know that’s a tough task for a customer to find a new barber, but it’s even tougher for the barber to do well with a new client in their chair. Jesse was booked up a week out so I took a chance on Marissa. She is awesome, very customer centric, and easy to talk to. For the first time cutting my hair (and I know my hair is not easy to cut because many barbers have really messed up, especially the first time), I was impressed. I can tell she really care to give people the best haircut even if it takes a little longer. They have an online appointment system so that was convenient and time saving. When I was there I saw a team of 3 barbers and the vibe was great. I am glad I washed my hair right before I went because didn’t see any shampooing/wash there so be courteous to the barbers and wash your hair to give yourself the best cut possible. If you’re looking for a shop in the area or if you’re willing to drive for a quality cut, I definitely recommend team Truth!

Moved to Lakewood recently from Pueblo. I’ve been with my previous barber for 3 years! So making the decision to get a cut from a new barber was not an easy choice. I did my research and came across Jesse with Truth Barber Shop! All I can say is he did not disappoint. Marissa is the BEST! What an amazing and talented barber she is. Both of my sons LOVE there cuts and appreciate how she went above and beyond to give us excellent customer service. My sons had a late game one night, I was going out of town the next day and she made sure my boys had there cuts! We wont be going to another barber . Thank you Marissa and Truth Barber!!
