Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI do not recommend this place for anyone who is a POC as they have no experience working with our hair type. They not only will lie and say they are able to give you what you ask for, but they will also destroy your hair and charge you $500+ for it.Response to the response: My hair was NOT box colored. Don’t you think I would know if my hair was? Prior to going to the salon to get my hair done, I went to Marisa to get my nails done. There she not only saw my hair in person, but gave me her card to discuss doing my hair. I clarified with her and asked if she was able to do my hair. I am Hispanic and my hair is thicker than most Caucasians I know. I went to her for services instead of a different salon because she said she knew how to work with Hispanic hair. Afterwards, I had tried speaking to Marisa about it but could see there was no point as her mother either owns the salon or is in charge. The bank does not give money back unless I had proof. Which I clearly did. I have included the photos I took as well, the photo which I had shown Marisa as what I had wanted, and my original hair.
