From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave, blissful. I stopped by this weekend for my first float and was immediately greeted by the front desk. We confirmed our appointment and were given a brief verbal walk through of the facilities and process. We watched a introductory video in a dark and zen room lit up by rock crystal lights and then given a tour of the facilities. For a first time floater it was great to have someone carefully explain the process and provide tips to maximize the experience. Every little detail from the signs posted to remind you of important steps, to the nice smelling soap, shampoos and conditioners, to the ear plugs, towels, and water spray for your eyes was great. Once inside the float you had the option to close the capsul, crack it open, turn off the lights completely, or cycle through different color lights. For second time floaters you even have the option to listen to your own music. I chose to close the capsule and have completely darkness and silence. Eventually you kinda just lose track of time. All you can hear is yourself breathing, your heartbeat, and your thoughts. Any pain your body has is amplified at first since that’s really all your mind can focus on but eventually it just goes away. You feel weightless and sometimes like you are moving in one direction but never hitting the edge of the capsule. I’m pretty sure I fell asleep for a bit. Once the music starts playing softly you know your time is coming to an end which gives you just enough time to turn on the lights do a little bit of stretching, and get your orientation. After a quick rinse off shower you have the option to relax in the zen lobby and take advantage of the oxygen bar and a hot tea which I did. The rest of the day I felt so relaxed. I’ll be coming again for sure!

I did my first float today. What an amazing experience! The staff was wonderful and answered all my questions before the float. Once I got in I felt myself really relax for the first time in a very long time. I really recommend this to anyone looking for a way to relax and combat stress. Looking forward to my next float!

The people who work at this location are consistently informative and genuinely kind. I have been coming for almost two years and the spa is always clean and well stocked. I love that now I can listen to my own music as I float. This is truly a regenerative experience every time I go ❤️

The spa experience is great. The membership and billing part is kinda frustrating though. Should never have to ask any questions or have to worry about fees after setting membership… should just be able to go and not worry about it although my experience is that this area can use improvement.

I got a membership to true rest after visiting the Scottsdale location. This was my first time at the Glendale location and I was incredibly underwhelmed. Being asked if had brought my own earplugs, and then being expected to bring the ones they gave back next time, I found strange. More than that, the float pod I was in was significantly cooler than my skin, which made it impossible to relax. This was my third float, and by far my worst.

Check the science on this and look at the organizations using this therapy. It works. It really does. When I read about the successes of isolation chambers and, more specifically, float pods in helping with Post Traumatic Stress, I was ready to hop in and give it a go.
