Critical: Quality, ValueI had a regular manicure and regular pedicure with 10 minutes of massage added on. My whole service lasted 45 minutes. They did the manicure during the pedicure which was not relaxing and uncomfortable to hold up the opposite-side arm for her to work on. They said they have to do this when they are busy and they were trying to finish up for the day (my appointment was 2 hours before close). It also made the polish very messy since I had the massage chair on trying to relax during my pedicure. She did not do my cuticles at all. Just unevenly shaped my nails and painted them. 2 of my nails were so crooked that I had to fix them at home. The pedicure did not include any treatment of rough spots on my feet- no pumice or anything. Overall disappointing. I had a regular manicure and regular pedicure with 10 minutes of massage added on. My whole service lasted 45 minutes. They did the manicure during the pedicure which was not relaxing and uncomfortable to hold up the opposite-side arm for her to work on. I used this place once and liked it. The man at front suggested I schedule appointments in future since they are so busy. So today, I scheduled an appointment for 10:30am. I live 2 minutes from salon. At 10:22am the man calls and says I should come in right now to help them because they are so busy. I politely told him he is to do what is right for the customers not the other way around. I called a competitor Diamond Nails. They said sure come in whenever you can get here. Guess which business is going to earn my money.

Her husband handles the payment; he showed me where to put my credit card and pointedly, I thought, asked me if I’d like to add a tip. I did, rather than explain to him that I didn’t think she deserved one because she had not completed shaping a single nail without looking up to see a new customer enter, or to chatter in Vietnamese to one of the other technicians. The shape of my nails reflects either inattention or lack of artistic vision; I do not believe a single one of them demonstrates the graceful shape of a nail. Additionally, it is difficult enough for me to understand English spoken by a Vietnamese speaker, but Thu spoke Vietnamese while looking at my nails, leaving me to guess if she was addressing me, and if so, what in the world was she saying.
