I set up an appointment for my friend to get a manicure, pedicure, and eye brows waxed. This was her first visit with this business. She said she enjoyed it, and they did a great job. It is small, with only two chairs, but thats nice if you like to avoid the crowded places. She said she will definitely go back.

I booked with True online but John ended up doing my nails. He was rude, aggressive, and as soon as I sat down he told me I only had one hour so pick something quick. I ended leaving extremely dissatisfied. After cutting my nails too short he ripped the tips off to reapply. Throwing things, snatching my hand. I had to ask him to stop being so rough. I regret not just walking out! I paid $145 on my BIRTHDAY (pedicure included) to end up with mediocre nails. I thought my toes would be pearl white but came out silver (I chose not to change them because of timing). Apparently all new clients get handed off to the main person who obviously doesn’t want to be there and has zero customer service or people skills… John.

I am super disappointed with my visit today. I gave two stars only because the lady who greeted me (I’m assuming was True) was very kind and welcoming. The man who actually did my nails (I’m assuming is John) however, was absolutely NOT. He was very rude, rough and condescending. I asked for tips and dip powder. They had an extensive selection of colors but the color I chose based on their color swatches is not the color I ended up with. He made me VERY uncomfortable to ask for what I wanted, especially during the service, so I ended up leaving with nails that I hate. He did not remove all of the polish I had on previously, so there are still bits of it around the edges of my nails. My dip powder was not cured all the way so there are smudges and rough spots. He was very rough, slapping my hands around when I didn’t move fast enough, jerking them around and just being generally aggressive. I sincerely wanted to ask him if he was okay because he felt and looked angry the entire time. He checked his phone and tablet several times, even while filing and buffing my nails. When it was over, I did not see anywhere to actually wash my hands but sanitizer was offered. Generally speaking, the entire experience was just super unprofessional,uncomfortable and a waste of 85 dollars for me. I will not return nor will I recommend this place to ANYONE.

I’ve been getting my nails done by True and John literally for the last ten years. I’ve followed them to three different nail salons and I’m always happy with my results. John always does what he can to create a design that I have envisioned, even if he has never done it before. They are both incredibly friendly. The salon is very cozy and clean.

My normal place was packed so I called true and John to see if they only took appointments. Thankfully true had an empty spot and was available, I must say she was very polite the lady next to me said she had been coming for a few months and liked it. She was NOT wrong they did an amazing job, everyone was so nice I will for sure be going back.

This would be the second time going to True and John and I love it. the first time I went to them I didn’t know they were appointment only but True got me in on that same day. Since than I been going back. The atmosphere is perfect..Shop is small but I don’t mind that..
