When I lived in Spokane, and when I make my annual visit, this is the only place that I like to get my haircut. The ladies here are great and they do an excellent job. I went to Amy at True colors to go from brunette to completely blonde. I sent pictures of my hair and the color I was wanting and got a price and timing quote. The day of I showed up early and wasn’t started until 20 mins after appointment time, no big deal. I said I was looking for a full color, not highlights, because I don’t like my natural hair color next to blonde, but that I would be willing to go to more medium color if that would be healthier for my hair. I ended up getting partial highlights, just bleached, with no color at all put in. She had to leave early before styling it, again no big deal. I knew immediately it wasn’t what I had asked for but I wanted to give it a day before saying anything to see if it would grow on me. The price was over what I had been quoted by a little. Next day I called and asked to have it fixed, 6 hours later I got a call back to schedule a consultation the next day. Day off she cancelled 15 mins prior as I was already driving there and rescheduled it for the next day. She said she would finish coloring it, but that I would have to pay for the dye. Since I had already paid what I had been told what it would cost to completely bleach and color my hair and I had been jumping through hoops I ended up cancelling the appointment to have it fixed. Overall, I felt that I wasn’t being given accurate information and that I hadn’t been listened to so I walked away from $190 and decided to get it fixed elsewhere.
