Hoang does great work, but the older lady is RUDE! I simply wanted a polish change on my toes, I came in the day before and decided the color was not for me. So I went back to change the color and the older lady gave me such a hard time! Every color I picked out, she informed me that color was too light, I literally picked out 8 colors of pink and they were all too light… She ended up taking off my polish, and I left out of the salon with no polish change… From my experience, they only have 2 employees, so be prepared to wait! If they improve on their customer service, it may be worth the wait!!! But I am not sure if I will return… I paid over $100.00 for my service only to return to get treated like I’m not a paying customer… I was not looking for any hand-outs, I wanted a polish change on my toes, and I was willing to pay for it again! $ is not an option… But Customer Service should be… I hope to hear from Hoang the owner soon!

Customer service is awesome. Color choices are never-ending. Cleanliness is number one. Staff is super personable. In all, you can’t find a better place to have your personal needs met, be it a manicure, pedicure, eyebrows waxed, etc. If you haven’t visited True Colors Nail Spa you’re not getting the attention to detail you deserve.

Honestly I should have called the owner instead of posting here but never got around to it and Google prompted me… Worst experience!! But 4 years ago for a different service it was totally amazing!! So that’s why I went back expecting amazingness!! I was so disappointed!! My nails looked like TRASH and service was awful… My heart goes out to the poor guy… He took forever for nothing. Had to get them redone at a different salon.

8/8/19 update:I have been a customer at this place for over 3 years now. Hoaung and her mother have transferred their ownership for well over a year now. They have since changed management again since then. Madison has grown a lot since I moved here and many of the past owners have tried to keep the business in the family with just one or two workers. I have NEVER had a bad experience here. The new owners are extremely polite and customer oriented. I will continue to be a customer and I hope many of you will give the new owners a better chance than the last.

My situation is almost identical to Alex’s review below. I went yesterday evening to have a mani/pedi. There were 2 people working, the owner and her daughter (I assume). I was greeted with a hello and asked if I could wait because there were people in ahead of me. I had had my nails done here once before and had an awesome experience. Apparently, that was with a family member who just recently quit. The one girl did the first part of my pedicure. It was okay, nothing special. Then the owner came to take over and finish the pedicure and take care of my manicure.I had gel polish and the owner was aggressive in the way she was scraping the polish off. It really put me on edge and set the whole tone for the rest of my manicure. She kept telling me to relax my hand, would jerk my fingers around, and would act frustrated like I wasn’t being cooperative and was making her job difficult. I eventually told her I wasn’t sure I could relax my hand any more than I was. I also sat in silence the rest of the time with the exception of saying I thought me French tips looked pretty. The owner responded that it was hard to do because of the shape of my nail, or maybe because I couldn’t relax my hand. Who tf knows. She also said she could tell I didn’t get my nails done often. Needless to say, I was not happy. She ruined my time there and I did not enjoy having my nails done. When it came time to pay she asked if I wanted to round up my total to include a tip. I was like, Naw girl. $62 is good.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. She got a phone call right as I sat down. She answered the phone and stayed on the phone the entire time I was there. She didn’t speak to me at all. All she did was stand up and tell me my total was $45, then asked if I wanted to tip with my debit card. I told her I would tip her on my debit card. She went ahead and added $5 her self without asking me what amount I’d like to tip!!!! She was STILL on the phone while I was paying and didn’t tell me bye. I will never be back here again.

THIS IS LONG BUT READ BEFORE GOING. Don’t go by the other reviews because that’s what I did and regret it. First let’s start with this place closes at 7 and I arrived at 5. I walk in and am not greeted with a hello/hi etc. yet the daughter says, “can I help you” after she just stared at me. I told her I wanted a full set and she replies, “pick a color” so I do and sit down. While waiting (note: only 3 people being serviced and three workers) a woman walks in. They greet her, “hey what are you needing done” she says her nails and the young lady says, “I can’t do your nails tonight, come back tomorrow.” The costumer leaves. Later (I’m still waiting) another lady comes in for a fill in. They tell her, “oh fill in? I have a full set waiting, long wait, come back tomorrow”. Remember it’s still only about 530 and they have an hour and a half before closing yet are sending customers away. I finally get helped and the owner is the one I get. First, she’s rushing from the start. Throwing my hands and bending my fingers saying, “relax your hand. Put your thumb down.” Pushing my arm back a million times. This went on the entire time I was there. Then she started complaining that I bit my nails off which I told her I never do and that she could barely do tips because of it. “See too short”.. then when she was cutting the tips she clipped my finger with the scissors because she was in a hurry to go somewhere other than her own business.

The PROFESSIONALISM. This place is truly a hidden gem. No crowds and one on one care. I am so pleased with my manicure and pedicure with gel polish. I highly recommend the Happy Hands Manicure/Pedicure.

If it wasn’t for the daughter, this place would be shut down. The owner (mother) is rude and always rushing. She has ZERO people skills. I don’t have to type a lengthy review because many other is stating my exact experience. If you can’t get the daughter then DO NOT GO IN THERE!!
