Critical: Cleanliness, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThis place is a joke. I have tanned here for several years and there is always some issue with the beds or the system or no one there to work to open the door for paying customers to actually use their tanning memberships. This place needs new management! I feel bad for the girls working having to deal with all the non-stop issues going on. Went in last week and only two beds were working and the girl working had to drive in from Tyler because no-one else wanted to work. This place is a direct reflection of the leadership.This place is a joke. I have tanned here for several years and there is always some issue with the beds or the system or no one there to work to open the door for paying customers to actually use their tanning memberships. This place is getting ridiculous bed 2 has been out of commission for over a month and bed 12 is getting there. I pay monthly and when I want to tan having to wait because the beds are down. Then I go to tan last night and they are closed . The need to get there act together. I pay I would like to be able to tan in the beds ! Please get them up and running

Critical: Professionalism, QualityOn June 10, 2020, I attempted to purchase a 1 month tan membership at the Greenville Tru Tan location. The girl at the front desk was absolutely horrible. She had no idea what she was doing. First, she charged my membership to another person’s account. When she realized her mistake, she tried repeatedly to contact her boss, who simply ignored her pleas for help. An hour later, (yes, I stood there for an hour) her boss finally contacted her and walked her through deleting the wrong account and creating an account for me. Much to my surprise, she charged my credit card again. So, at this point I have been charged for 2 months of tans instead of just one. I have wasted numerous hours of my time calling the manager in an attempt to collect my refund. The manager repeatedly ignores my calls. On June 15, 2020, a week after the incident, I got an email from “John” saying he would get the problem taken care of right away. We are now 2 weeks out with no refund, credit or communication from John or anyone else affiliated with Tru Tan. Shame on you Tru Tan for not valuing your costumers enough to at the very minimum communicate with them, and especially for failing to train your employees sufficiently and provide them help when needed. On June 10, 2020, I attempted to purchase a 1 month tan membership at the Greenville Tru Tan location. The girl at the front desk was absolutely horrible. She had no idea what she was doing. I had never had a spray tan before in my life, and I didn’t really know much about choosing between one color or the next, but the friendly staff at tru tan helped me figure out the color best for my skin tone as well as walking me through the steps once I got in the tanning booth. It was very clean (the booth started self cleaning when I stepped out), very professional, and $39 wasn’t an awful price to pay for the way my skin looks. It’s a nice, even, noticeable but not in a bad way tan that left me feeling confident in how I look. 10/10 would do it again.

Loved tanning here, but such a rip off! Not a good idea if you want to tan for a short period of time. They force you to be on a 3 month plan which is fine, but then after the 3rd transaction you have to pay an additional fee to cancel your membership. Not to mention if you want to cancel before 3rd transaction, it’s a $50 cancel fee. Way overpriced for the quality of the salon.
