I have been a long time client of Tru. I feel more like family than a client. From the front desk to the assistants to the colorists and stylists, Tru Salon is The Real Urban Salon (the quality you only find in Manhattan). Everyone is a master of their art. They constantly evolve and educate, and will keep you current. You always receive a friendly, but professional service. They care how you look. Michelle is a magician and recently did my Balayage, which I LOVE. Always lots of compliments. Gloria’s cuts always amaze me. She no doubt keeps me hip, and Chris is truly a rock star with my blowouts. However, I highly recommend any stylist. I travel 35 minutes to get to this salon and they are worth it.

Brian, the owner and a truly gifted hair stylist creates a gracious tone and personable tone. Michelle is an extremely skilled, kind, charming and gifted colorist, who always has a flair for beautifully and adeptly-colored hair that correctly highlights my best features. She also has a warm, engaging attitude and a lovely sense of humor. Gloria is incredibly talented, sweet, interesting, sincere and excellent hair stylist who creates the “right” cut, correctly proportioned to my face and style. Best hair salon on Long Island. Everyone is so friendly. Gloria rocks the best haircuts! I would never let anyone else cut my hair. She really listens to what you want before she starts. All the colonists are wonderful! Amanda is beautiful and sweet and does an amazing job. I come from the South Shore to be here. I can’t say enough good things!
