First time in here, wanted long coffin nails, regularly $51 and she said $56 for long with a design on ring fingers (I asked her twice before we started you said $56 right?), no problem. Started out ok then my technician throughout the process of applying the acrylic filed them down to be short. Ok not what I asked for but fine, I didn’t want to start over. Then she applied 4 layers of gel polish (I’ve never done gel but I’m assuming it’s not supposed to be thick and lumpy with bubbles) after the gel had completely dried she filed my nails some more making the edges look gross. Asked how I was going to pay, I told her card and kept trying to get me to withdraw cash from their atm. She ran my card and charged me $61, when I told her she said $56 earlier (for nails that weren’t even long anymore) she denied saying that in the first place and she kept arguing with me so I just left cause I’m not trying to argue like that over $11. Then I got in the car and noticed 7 out of 10 of my nails are extremely crooked. Don’t waste your money. Edit; it’s several days later and she went back in and added $5 onto the bill after I had already signed for the $61 which I’m pretty sure isn’t legal. I called my bank and filed a fraud claim for the $5

I visited Troutdale Nails to treat myself to a pedicure for my birthday. This was my first time at this salon and I WILL NEVER RETURN. The technician cut the cuticle of my right big toe to close and hurt me. She then ONLY applied ONE COAT OF NAIL POLISH and did not paint the toes all the way down to the nail bed. This is why I stopped going to nail salons because it’s a rip off at $35 for a basic pedicure and they maim you!
