They still have outstanding employees, unfortunately the owners can’t keep the facility in best of shape. It’s clean, just always in disarray, remodeling unfinished. Machines do not always work as they should. But prices stay the same. Well less cheaper beds, you do the math.

I used to really like this facility. Clean and nice. I signed up for a monthly package. I specifically asked if it automatically renews. The girl said no so I thought I was in the clear. They charged me for 2 months that I didn’t use and no refund. The person I talked to was supposed to get back to me about a refund but has not. Disappointed that I’m out $140 for lack of training on their part. I won’t be returning.

Tropical Tan is by far the best tanning salon around! Clean salon, clean and upgraded beds, great specials and the girls are always so nice! No tanning salon around beats their prices or beds!

I’ve been to the Palatine location before but never to Grayslake. I recently moved to the area and found out this is literally like less than 5 min from the new house (super convenient!) and I must say I actually like this location better. Whoever was working the front desk this evening was very nice & welcoming. The entire salon looked very clean and spotless. Interior looked new and respectable and the beds are all nicer/newer looking compared to LA Tan or other salons I’ve been too. This will most likely be my go-to from now on, can’t wait to go back 🙂

the girls are all super nice and helpful, very clean and beds are always sanitized promptly. i pass several different salons that are closer and still choose this one! lamps are changed frequently and beds are up to date and about as nice as you can get. i appreciate that they got rid of the lower level beds to make room for nicer, more high quality levels!

I love this tanning salon they have the best beds all up to date new the highest levels of taking you can get and they are really clean really friendly really helpful their prices are among the packages are awesome and the girls are so great Mariah was who I met first and she was the best she answered all my questions helped me pick the right lotion for me and explained everything that I had questions about and more lol I’m a talker she was super sweet and always happy Everytime I go in and she’s working I’ve met a couple of the other girls as well and they are all great also the locations are very convenient and spread out I actually signed up at the one in Waukegan but learned about the one in grayslake which is way closer to me I’m in love with tropical tan by far the best tanning salon I’ve been to throughout the years did I mention they have the best products lotions ect. In each room they have hair ties for u if u forget to bring yours which I appreciated my first time because I absolutely forgot duh lol but they have candies and sprays in the room it’s really just so welcoming and a great place to go if your trying to find somewhere thank you tropical tan!!!!!
