The Latrobe salon is clean and the staff is mostly courteous. However if you purchase any of the products, make sure to sample it first before so. Its explained that you can cause damage to their bed if you do not purchase with in their shop or one of their other locations. Stop problem is that the products are totally nonrefundable. I just do not understand how any company can be so adamant about you using a specific brand or product they sell yet they do not stand behind any of the products 100% that they represent or explain to you how to go about contacting anyone who does. The massage chair in the Latrobe Salon only partially works. The Greensburg salon is much larger than the Latrobe location. too have a very large selection of products and multiple beds and I personally like their spray tanning their better. The massage chair with in that Salon is fully functionable and certainly amazing, might I but all the tanning beds in Greensburg are ever functioning at 100%. Some the surfaces have cracks and some of the buttons on a machine are basically for show. I have yet to visit the Delmont or Murrysville salon but my review will be updated when I do. Both of the salons offer a variety of services such as teeth whitening, spray and bed tanning, limited amounts of bathing suits, manicures and threading by appointment only

Super clean and friendly staff! They offer many different packages! They also state clearly when you sign up to cancel you need to send your letter by certified mail! I’ve done it and never got charged after that!

I have had the absolute worst experience with Tropical Sunsations. They do not fully disclose all details of the “so called agreement”. When I made an attempt to cancel services they said that because my cancellation letter was not mailed as a certified letter that it was not going to be acknowledged. I spoke to Melissa who I was told was the owner by a rude employee I spoke to on the phone at the Latrobe location, who told me when I spoke to her that her husband (being Melissa’s husband the person I was speaking to) was the owner. I expressed my frustration with the fact that it was this complicated to cancel my services with them. She seemed to care less and instead of providing a solution for my problem made excuse after excuse for the issues. I am completely disgusted that I have wasted my time and money with an establishment that could care less about customer experience. I signed up for this so called “discounted package” of $84.+ Per month for a tanning package; the last week of July and was charged for a full month. August 1, 2014 I was billed another $84.+ For another month to be told that I needed to give 30 notice that I wanted to cancel this package. I mailed in the cancellation on Friday August 22nd and when I called to see if this was received I was told a long story of how it is in a safe and not taken out until the first of the month and the only person with access to this is Melissa’s husband. So on September 1st when they charged me another $84+ why did I not hear anything about my cancellation…. well because apparently in the style of this terrible establishment, you MUST mail them a certified letter or apparently your cancellation letter will be discarded. PLEASE PLEASE think twice before making a commitment with this business or giving them any of your personal information. I should have known better from day one when I felt as if I was being sold a used car by Melissa, who at the time I was unaware this was the owner’s wife working in the Greensburg, PA location. Final statement in my opinion I feel sick to my stomach they ever received my business. I work in a retail environment and if I ever seen one of my customers treated or situations handled in this manner I would be embarrassed and everyone that works for Tropical Sunsations should be embarrassed because obviously customer experience couldn’t mean any less to them. I only gave one star for the fact that I had to choose at least one because they truly do not deserve even one star.
