I recently moved to New Orleans and was concerned about finding a good nail salon, I know it could be a long process finding the right one, I chose Tropical Oasis from a recommendation and so glad I did. Not only did I find a good one but I think Conney gave me the best gel manicure I ever had. She did such a flawless job on my nails with the base coat that I decided to leave them as is and didn’t even bother with a color top coat. I’m no spring chicken and my hands have many years of milage, but Conney made them look as good as I’ve seen them in years.

I am in town from Chicago visiting my stepdad. I told him I needed to get my nails done, and he told me I’ll find you the best spot! He found me Tropical Oasis. Boy, did he ever find the best spot! The women were so kind and I enjoyed talking to the other patrons as well. It was just 6 women who were able to share and hour of time together. Because of the fabulous staff, us customers also got wonderful looking nails and service. I’ll be back next time ladies!

I’m not a regular patron of nail salons, but I had to commend the exceptional level of service at Tropical Oasis. The owner was extremely nice and went above and beyond to accommodate us. My sister, cousin and I were visiting from out of town and decided on a whim to get pedicures, plus a dip nail change for my sister. After researching a few different places nearby, I called (late) on a Saturday morning to see if they had any same-day availability. Luckily, they had some a little later that afternoon. Originally, we had to split appointment times, but Conney went out of her way to rearrange things and squeeze us in so we could get our services done together! The shop is clean and cozy, with three nail stations and three pedicure chairs, but it feels huge with all the natural light coming in through the picture windows at the front of the shop. After a glass of complimentary wine and an hour in the massaging pedicure chair, we were ready to take on the day (and night)! I highly recommend making an appointment here and making this your go-to place if you’re local. I know next time I visit, I will definitely be stopping by here again.

I’m so happy with my results! I came in for a gel mani/pedi and India did a wonderful job! I lean towards the more natural look and she did exactly what I wanted! She asked me my preferences and gave some good suggestions and I’m glad I listened to her! The place had a great vibe and the complimentary libations just made my day! An incredible experience at Tropical Oasis Nail Salon! From the online appointment booking to the best manicure and pedicure I have had in years. All COVID-19 precautions were taken. I was asked to wash my hands upon arrival, both technicians wore a mask, salon was impeccably clean, and only 4 people in salon, including technicians. I love this salon! Lovely owner, incredibly talented, and the service was fantastic. Thank you!!!!

The other reviews speak for themselves – this place rocks. Not only are the women in here friendly, helpful and professional, the attention to detail is like nothing I have ever experienced. I can truly say that in my decade of nail salon visits, this was the BEST pedicure I have ever gotten. Unfortunately I was only here on a visit, but the locals need to make this their go-to! While the services are slightly pricier than what I am used to, it was worth every penny. This is not the kind of place that rushes you in and out with questionable hygienic practices, they take their time and make sure everything is perfect. 10/10!
