I LOVE Tropic Nails! Recommend my clients to this nail salon too, I’ve known Ms. Hannah the longest she took wonderful care of my family members and diabetic Grandmothers nails for years. I love coming here because it’s a fair price, great service, clean, never smells of stinky nail salon chemicals, I can usually walk in whenever, and I see any of the available techs! They are super nice, polite, friendly, and accommodating, frequently I just get polish changes.

I had a very pleasurable experience here with Hanna. She was so gentle removing an old set of nails and really took her time adding a new set. My nails are beautiful AND they do not hurt at all which has never been my experience with removing an old set and applying a new set. Looks like I have found a new place and person to do my nails!

When home from college I tried tanning here before a quick trip and the people were very nice but the amount of stares from customers was very discomforting. The staff didn’t seem very educated on the amount of time to set for tanning. I ended up having an allergic reaction to the cleaning products or possibly tanned to fast. I was covered head to toe in heat rash that took 2 weeks to fully go away. Rooms felt dirty and there was no place to put my clothes except for the floor. I was slightly grossed out. I may give it another shot but Paradise has better beds in my opinion.

So I have been going to tropics for about 5 years now, I agree with the new management things seem very different and a bit more expensive, however I think you need to go to the right people in here

I always go to Stephanie so cannot comment about the others. She is very nice, her work is good and very thorough. I have never gotten a bad result either with manicure or pedicure. The shop is always clean and the people always friendly.

People are very nice and helpful . They greet you when you come in and clean nail area , quite a few mani and pedi stations. Tanning beds have always been clean and you can usually walk in and receive the service you want .

The technician did not listen to me as to what service I want and her skills were just as poor. I paid $30 for a pink and white refill, the next day all of my coworkers and patients noticed the sloppy work.

For all of you complaining… BEAUTY IS PAIN YOU IDIOTS. If they cut your Cuticles its cause they’re making them better. I’ve been going here for 2 years and I’m always satisfied. There are some nails tech’s who are better than others but that’s just like any place! And the price depends on You! If you have gel or long nails of course your fill in will be more expensive jeez.

I would rate this no stars if I could. In the past, I went there to get my nails done. I quit sports and started working at Tropic. I loved working there back when Stephanie and Peter owned it. They made it a fun (but serious) atmosphere and everyone got along great. Everyone that came in loved being in as well, they had nothing bad to say about there service or the techs. Steph and Peter sold the business do the new owner, Tina. At first, Tina was a good boss. But the longer she stayed, the worse it got. She was very unorganized and made things very complicated/ stressful. It was no longer the fun environment that it was like before. She would yell at me for things that were not even my fault and for developing a “worker to costumer relationship!! During my time of working there, I would see people come in to tan on a daily basis. I started remembering their preferences (bed number and how long) so they can just walk on back when they came in! Everyone loved it, I got SO many compliments. I was told that I was being unprofessional..is that being unprofessional? I didn’t think so. But by that time, I had enough. So I quit. My former coworker informed me today that she had quit and told me everything that has happened since I left. 6 other people..6 OTHER PEOPLE besides me have left AND she hired an unlicensed nail tech. When my former coworker told Tina that she was quitting, Tina texted her and harassed her! I think that’s unprofessional! Take my word for it..Tropic is not what it once was and has gone down hill drastically. Do not go here.

I was a little skeptical about going here after I read some of reviews. I went in and they sat me right away. I thought th lady did a decent job. Wasn’t the best but it was alright. Although my nails aren’t even & I asked for GEL full-set which at any other salon they’d pull out the UV lamps and within 10 minutes all three coats of color and top coat would’ve been dry…not the case here. She used the UV lights for the color coats and made me sit up front to dry my top coat and then yelled at me for checking my phone. This place is way overpriced for the crappy work. Not a big fan and will not recommend going. It’s
