The atmosphere was so peaceful in her shop!! Ms.Trophine and Ms. Jackie were such a delight to be around! They were so welcoming and made me feel comfortable the whole time I was there! She started on time and finished quicker than I thought! Braids came out perfect! I will definitely be a returning customer!!

I have been to Trophine’s shop three times and I’ve never had a problem until today. I asked her for faux locs and she gave me the bulkiest and heaviest style ever. She insisted on cornrowing my hair as the foundation instead of doing the box method after I showed her pictures of what I wanted. Trophine also does not properly detangle hair; there are no products used for aiding the process.. only her blowout tool.

The lady was nice but my experience was not the best went in the lady didn’t know who I was I had to tell her then when it came to picking my style she talked me out of what I originally wanted not sure if she didn’t feel like doing that style or what I told her what color I wanted and she just put what she saw fit after she was done she didn’t hand me a mirror or ask me was I satisfied or anything I paid and left went home discovered she half way twisted my hair I have this braids by the way so I sent her pictures and sent her a message she told me to come the next day and I did she hardly did anything hair still loose and hardly twisted she’s gonna tell me oh it’s because my hair is not natural mind you I’ve been getting braids since a young girl never ever had that problem I’m like mam if you’re losing your touch just say that and I have medium length hair so what’s the problem I think she got lazy through the process of doing my hair to add to the problem went to bed I always cover my hair at night to protect it and a twist still fell out I will never return the good reviews have to be people she know or people that haven’t had their hair done by more experienced braiders I’m so done a waste of money you live and you learn

I will definitely be going back! Actually I don’t think I’m going to be going anywhere else to get my hair braided. The owner and staff there are very professional. They don’t braid your hair to tight and nobody is there over 6 hours;it doesn’t matter what kind of braids you get.

Very kind and professional. Salon was very clean. I was her only client of the morning. She wore a hair covering and face mask for the entire visit. Reasonable prices and attentive to my hair needs. I will be returning.
