Mattie assisted me first with a consultation and then once we decided on the route to take to get the color I wanted me booked my appointment. Overall I love my hair and my experience. I use a wheelchair for 100% of my mobility. When I arrived at Trixie’s Uptown on the day of my appointment someone met me at the door to help me get inside, the solon chair had already been moved out of the way so we could trim my hair from my wheelchair, and staff were respectful of my wheelchair as an extension of my body.

After having a horrible experience in the 42nd street location, I called the owner thinking surely she would understand how badly I must feel to reach to her about how I felt, but no, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Tricia was indifferent and cold to my feelings and told me that that was my experience and not the story she heard. I was made out to be a liar even with proof of my complaint to back me up. With all of the amazing salons in this city it definitely won’t be difficult to find one that knows how to make sure their customers leave feeling amazing. I will never forget the awful way that trixies treated this customer today. Not worth it.
