Lo and behold, I stumbled across Triple Threat, a local barbershop that started up only about 6 months ago. The 3 co-owners perform all of the work and services they offer, so they have a vested interest in doing it right every time.I have an oddly shape head and cranial features that present difficulties for some barbers the first time they are cutting my hair, and oftentimes after a shower or a closer inspection in good lighting, I find patches that were missed or uneven. This was not the case with Anna, she took the time to ensure everything met both her standards and my own before I walked out of the shop.Prices for haircuts are slightly higher than your local Sports Clips or Supercuts chain, but the quality of their work is substantially better. Better yet, 100% of the money you spend directly supports the local hard-working staff, rather than some out-of-state corporate owners getting a percentage on every service performed.One other thing I really like is that you can book appointments online with any of their 3 barbers, which means you can check the schedule to find a time that works for you without calling and doing the whole back-and-forth thing. I feel like this option should be standard these days, and frankly it’s embarrassing that larger chain barbershops with plenty of funding and resources haven’t implemented this feature already, yet these 3 entrepreneurs manage to pull it off successfully while also building up the shop from scratch and performing all the barbering work to be done.
