In addition, the owner of Trim is incredibly thoughtful, and it shows in every aspect of the salon, never more so than this year, during the pandemic. I was nervous about getting a cut, but I genuinely felt safe at Trim. They’ve thought of everything in terms of safety protocols and more importantly -they actually follow through with all of them. I trust them with my hair, and I trust them to be smart and ethical in everything they do – in the salon and in the community (check out their Trim Gives Back program, for example). Highly recommend. I love this place. First of all, I always leave happy with my hair (thanks to Shannon) and the space itself is beautiful and comfortable. In addition, the owner of Trim is incredibly thoughtful, and it shows in every aspect of the salon, never more so than this year, during the pandemic. This is an excellent trendy, community-oriented salon! Be sure to check out their Instagram account for some major inspo for your next cut or color (@trimdc). You will not regret having your hair done here. Shannon did a fabulous job with my bangs and made my spicy, coppery brunette color dreams come true. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean and SUPER COVID safe. I’m so lucky to have this salon in my neighborhood, but it’s worth the commute even if you’re not located in Adams Morgan. Will definitely be recommending to all my friends!

Today was my first visit and I could not have asked for a better experience! The salon was clean, beautiful, and was very attentive to safety with their covid precautions. My stylist was Angie and she gave me the best cut and color I’ve ever had! I also met many of the other staff and they were so kind and made me feel very welcome. Definitely check Trim out if you are looking for a new salon 🙂

Just got my pandemic haircut from my trusted hairdresser, Mercedes. I LOVE MY HAIRCUT!! Even more than that, though, I felt *perfectly* comfortable and safe in the salon. Post-visit, I can say I am confident each stylist is following Trim’s excellent safety protocols with every client. Every step in their well-thought-out COVID-19 safety policies was followed including: Temp check, distance between clients, masks on everyone, disinfection of tools and spaces, and cashless payment. Absolutely would go back! Thank you for making me feel safe and comfortable.

Every time I go into the salon my temperature is checked and I’m asked to wash my hands. The salon has gone above and beyond following COVID protocols. Limited staff, intensive cleaning, no blow drying, etc. I feel so safe there and my hair is well taken care of! Mariana is my stylist and she seriously has transformed my hair!!! I went from long brown plain hair, to a beautiful hair cut and blonde color! All while keeping my hair very healthy in the process! Great staff. Mercedes is the best hairstylist I have ever had! Her haircuts grow out amazing and her color is just to die for. I live in New York and travel to DC to get my color, shes the only one who has been able to do ombre on my hair that doesn’t turn out orange. I get a lot of compliments on both the cut and color.
