I cannot express how truly happy I am with my hair. I was worried that I was asking for too much by changing from one vivid color, red, to another, green. But this is what my hair looked like in just 3-4 hours! My stylist Gee knew exactly what she was talking about and talked me through each step and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Not to mention the complimentary mimosa was delicious while jamming out to music. The vibes are just Immaculate! Tried & True has become my official salon of choice

Haley was great to work with. I made a big change with lilac hair and she did everything to help me feel comfortable throughout the process including telling me that if we need to change anything during or after the color she would. Can’t even get over how much I love my haircut and the salon. They are incredibly welcoming and non-judgemental. A lot more layed back than several other salons I’ve been to. Haley did an INCREDIBLE job on my hair. She completely transformed it and made me feel a lot better about my it. I get a haircut maybe twice a year and I always go here if I’m in town. Austin is great! I didn’t know what I wanted for my last one since I had been cutting my own hair for so long, and Austin was so awesome and creative in figuring out a haircut that worked well. I got a haircut and blow dry here and had such a good time! My appointment was with Kitty – she was super fun and professional and gave me the perfect cut, I really love it! This may be the most Denton salon I’ve ever been to in the best way possible, like a ladies tattoo parlor met a record store/punk bar and decided to cut hair. It’s seriously a vibe and entertaining just to hang out. Everyone is wicked nice, the prices seem reasonable and the service was amazing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new place to get their hair done and likes the idea of getting shampooed under a giant disco ball 10/10 and I’m for sure going here from now on!

I have been seeing Allison for my haircut for about 5 years now. She always does amazing work and is very creative if you don’t know what you want. It’s even better now that she has her own shop. The environment is really cool you can sit back and watch classic vhs tapes while you wait for your appointment and they offer you drinks while you wait. Best experience ever. Thanks again Allison!

The waiting room is comfortable in the service you receive while waiting is very welcoming!
