I’ve still heard nothing and it’s been weeks. I also have to update while I don’t think my haircut was as bad as I first thought now that I can fix it, the color still is. So I’m attaching a photo showing my request and the $300 color I was given. (Note the first photo was NOT done by here! It’s the second photo with horrible chunky color)Original review:I’ve gone here over a decade. Last time my haircut was SO unflattering that for the first time in my life people said things like “oh, I loved how it used to be…” but I chopped it off so, ok, maybe not their fault (I donate it every few years and usually get compliments but I still brushed it off). Fast forward to last week. Not only is my hair so bad I have tears every time I think about what I have to live with for the holidays, but it is nothing close to what I asked for, can’t be fixed, AND instead of $230 it was $360!!!!! Oh, and I reached out to the salon TWICE and no response.I’ve never had hair issues before and usually go with the flow but this was unacceptable. I asked for thin and subtle balyage. Showed a photo. My hair has chunky highlights. I asked for a bob but specified it was important to be long enough for a ponytail still (my hair was past my shoulders. My exact words were “I want to keep as much length as is healthy, but definitely long enough for a pony tail”…and 5-7”were cut off!). It is LITERALLY less than 1/2” from my scalp in the back. It will be over 6 months to be ponytail length. And all the color was chopped off except the chunky highlight part. Plus! The rest of my hair literally now looks damaged bc of how it was cut. And again, I had a reference photo with clear instruction from the photo.And I reiterate, this horrible job, was over $100 more than the cost of what I booked (I also booked full color which we didn’t even do and it was still $100 more…bc of “product and foil”… for shoulder length hair) plus, zero response from the salon.This ends my long term relationship as a client and I highly suggest not believing the previous hype and know that it’s not what it once was. Sadly you should go elsewhere as I surely am.
