My friend booked 2 90 minute facials for my birthday. I received a 90 minute facial, except I was left alone for over 20 minutes of the 90 minutes. My friend only got a 55 minute facial and when we went to check out, she told the front desk that she had paid for a 90 minute and only got 55 minutes. The front desk told her that they were only supposed to be 60 minutes each. When she explained that I received a (sort of) 90 minute one, we were told that was a mistake! They seemed very confused and showed an incredible lack of interest. She had to pay for 2 classic 90 minute facials. They offered her a $25.00 refund. What kind of front desk doesn’t know what is going on with booked reservations? When we got in the car we shared what our facials were like. We signed up for the same thing, received completely different services! She was told to wash her face and change her pillowcase tonight and I was told to NOT wash my face at all! It was a bizarre experience, one that we plan not to repeat at this salon.

Bad experience with one of the cheaper stylists and will not be returning. Went in for a basic haircut and shampoo/blow dry. Things started to go south when within my first minute of talking to the hair stylist, the stylist started to low-key fight me on the cut I wanted. Had to sit and convince her to give me the cut I wanted. Yes, I had to convince her to give me a cut I’ve gotten for years… So after some awkward exchanges the stylist begrudgingly agreed to give me the cut I asked for.

I had a very unimpressive experience with hair colorist Chloe. She was not very friendly. I was made to feel like an inconvenience of sorts. Besides the cold demeanor, I really wasn’t happy with the hair color. I went back that same week for another round of toner.

The cut was great, he was personable and professional. He listened to my requests. He was wonderful. As for the colorist, she seemed lacking in experience. The color did not match even close to the color of my hair, so I have a streak in my in roots. I think my least favorite experience there was the shampooer. My hair was soaking wet and cold and she didn’t wrap it up and left me a tiny towel on my shoulders. So a few minutes later my back was soaked and cold. I had to go find a towel myself. The girl who did my hair color did not come check and ask if it liked the color after she said she’d meet me after we shampoo. I would go back for a cut.

My aesthetician has to be the best in the country! Milami listens, responds thoughtfully and offers excellent suggestions. She is gentle, she is thorough and most important, she is a very kind person. She gives me a detailed educational session throughout my facial, as I requested when we initially met each other a few months ago. She doesn’t spend our precious time together trying to sell every product in the house but she does tailor any recommendations she makes to my skin and my needs. She is wonderful.
