My family has gone to Mario’s for many years. It always has been a consistent and good experience. This particular location is not one we frequent but it is close to my sons school so we set up and appointment and I planned to drive up to pick him up from school on Sunday to get his haircut. When we arrived we were told our appointment had been cancelled and they could not accommodate him at any time, with any other person on this day. I explained that it is a very long drive for me and asked isn’t there anyone who can just cut his hair? There was no empathy. Just, “Well we left you a message this morning. Is your number…..?” I said I don’t know if I got a voicemail but I did receive multiple text messages about this appointment. I understand that things happen, apparently whoever was supposed to cut my sons hair called in sick, but here’s my issues with this:1). This is a decent sized salon with a well established name and reputation. How do they not plan better for this sort of situation? Even if I had gotten that voicemail, a few hours before my appointment, you are still leaving customers high and dry on very short notice. People have busy schedules and plan for these sorts of things or they may have an event later on that day. You would think they would be more proactive in ensuring they maintain their customers satisfaction levels by taking steps to accommodate appointments. 2) if you are going to text me appointment confirmations and reminders then why wouldn’t you text cancellations. Especially if you tried to call them and couldn’t reach them ? Very disappointed and we will not be back to this location.

My sister and i had no chip manicures done on Saturday and both of our nails started chipping a couple days later. For what we spent there, i expected better from Tricoci. Technicians were friendly, but seemed rushed, even though they didn’t seem busy. They had mentioned they were slower for a Saturday. We both received pedicures also, but my technician didn’t even rub my feet, which i assumed was part of the pedicure service. I honestly receive better quality at a stand alone nail salon then what i received at Tricoci. Needless say, i won’t be coming back. Disappointing.

Went for a mani/pedi for my engagement photos. All I wanted was a simple French polish. I didn’t care about the pedicure, but it’s an engagement photo shoot. My hands/ring are a main focus. Go figure my manicurist admitted she has never done a French manicure before me. I should have left then and there. Instead I tried to give her a chance. I tried to instruct her how I wanted my manicure to be done. Instead she was incredibly dismissive. Whenever I would make a suggestion she would say it was a bad idea and my nails would be “weird looking” if she did as I asked. Of course when she was done I told her I was unhappy with it and asked her to fix it. She said she thought they looked fine and to go see someone else if I wanted it fixed. I left crying. I had never felt so dismissed and ignored in my life at an establishment. At the very least I’m happy the manager understood when I told her I wasn’t paying for what I didn’t ask for. I asked for dip, she puts on cheap press-ons. I asked for a simple, clean French mani. She tries to be fancy and trendy and refuse to listen when I ask her to go more classic. I had to enlist the help of 2 other people to find me another manicurist to fix the mess before my photoshoot.

Great high quality service. I spent 3 hours at the Spa and didn’t want to leave. Massage was so relaxing. Mani-pedi are still holding strong after a full week. Vera and Eva are amazing!

I live in Florida but whenever I come visit home I come here to get any hair cuts or colors done. I have not found any salon I trust more than Tricoci. Incredibly consistent.
