Critical: Professionalism*Downgrading from 2 stars to 1 star, because I did contact them the same day per their reply to my review and never got a reply back.I’m extremely disappointed. My stylist was fine, however upon booking I was quoted a starting price of $130 for a balayage with this stylist. I walked out to a total of $255 not including tip, ($300 overall,) and nobody had warned me about the BLOW DRY YOUR OWN HAIR policy on top of it all. ($300 to style my own hair?!?) There were no straighteners, (when I asked for one I was told they didn’t have any… at a hair salon,) and I’m a curly haired girl! How am I supposed to know if the highlights came out okay if I can’t even see the end result before walking out the door? How can the stylists see if it all turned out? I expected to leave the salon feeling confident and refreshed but instead looked like Daenerys Targaryen stuck her finger in a socket. It wouldn’t be so bad if it were a cost-cutting measure but after tip I spent $300 there, (again, double the quoted price that I asked for upon booking,) just to have my hair a shade lighter than before. I was so excited to come here today but I look terrible and spent way more than I can afford without warning. If they had told me that it would be twice the quoted price I might have been able to speak with my stylist about other options that I could afford. I recommend supporting small business and trying Anthony Aldwin Salon in Grayslake instead, as I have gotten wonderful highlights, haircut, blow dry and style there for a fraction of the cost of Tricoci.*Downgrading from 2 stars to 1 star, because I did contact them the same day per their reply to my review and never got a reply back. …More

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityErika is a very highly skilled nail technician. I’ve been seeing her regularly for years and she has completely transformed my nails from stubs to long beautiful nails. I’ve seen savina for waxes and facials. She also does an excellent job. If you want a clean and professional salon, I would book here. I’ve seen savina for waxes and facials. She also does an excellent job. If you want a clean and professional salon, I would book here. The staff is very courteous and accommodating.
