FRAUDSTER! STAY FAR AWAY! Chad is a horrible stylist, failed to deliver, and almost ruined my hair. He was abrasive, rude, and lacks the ability to work with color. I asked him for blond highlights and as you can see from the five inches of brown roots in the photo no highlights stayed. When I asked him to please fix it or reimburse me, he refused to do either. He has a horrible attitude and lacks the talent to back it.

Chad graciously granted me an appointment after telling me my hair reminded him of the dinner plate he was eating off of. The word he used was “big”. I was looking quite voluminous that evening, and I was long over due. Big and overgrown hair was correct, and fair. I arrived for my appointment and was seated above a slew of various hair clippings covering the floor. There was a beautiful and well behaved dog in the corner that I found quite charming. He had flair. He took pauses of silence and contemplation as he cscissored away in mad fury. I was nervous for the end result. His fingers were moving too fast to know what they were cutting. At the end he stormed away in heated dishevelment. I didn’t even know if my haircut was completed. I had to meekly ask “am I done?” I have some really bad haircuts…this one is honestly one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. And to the woman who left before me, her hair was stunning.

Oofta. From the minute I walked in I was completely thrown off by the “I don’t want to be here” vibe. I was Chad’s last appointment of the day and I wanted a simple cut with bangs. Chad immediately said he hates cutting bangs and wouldn’t do it. Said I needed a “female who enjoys cutting bangs.” I told him that I would be ok with just the cut and he said he would do it, but he would hate it and then said something along the lines of I’ll give you a mullet or it’s going to look like a mullet. I told him to please do NOT give me a mullet. The wash and the cut went super fast, so that was a plus, but my hair unfortunately did not look like the video I showed him or what we discussed.

Say YES to the BEST! I would not normally start off a 5 star review with sad…but sad I am that I am from out of town and will not get to repeat this experience every month! Chad is one of the best stylists I have had the opportunity to share 2.5 hours with. It is not easy to find someone who actually cares about a middle-aged female with gray roots trying to maintain some tress dignity. But it was more than the cut, color, and style. It was a freshly brewed latte, entertaining and engaging conversation with him and Maria, puppy love from Colt who sat in my lap most of the visit, jewelry cleaning (a great perk), and a chic atmosphere with awesome lighting. Trust me when I tell you, if someone has a bad experience here…it is THEIR fault! Can’t wait to come back next year. Thank you Chad! Wishing you continued success in Jackson!
