The owner / stylist is very professional & knowledgeable. He understood the look I was going for and did an amazing job fixing my hair to achieve that look. My highlights came out amazing and well blended to cover my gray hair. He throughly explained the process and products, helping his clients to be proactive in their hair care. Highly recommended!

Not only did he come in and open the salon just for me/to accommodate my situation, but he gave me literally the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. I have weird Hispanic thick/coarse curly hair and Dexter knew exactly how to cut, style, and blow it out. My hair looks the best it’s ever looked! Dexter was also super fun and easy to talk to while he was doing my hair, not to mention easy on the eyes! This felt like a true VIP experience and it was worth every penny of the cost. Not only did he come in and open the salon just for me/to accommodate my situation, but he gave me literally the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. I have been coming to Triage for 5 1/2 years. I started my locs here and have seen Dex for maintenance ever since. He was able to take care of my hair and scalp through some very difficult eczema issues that lasted for many months. The open sores I had on my scalp are now completely resolved due to his patience, persistence, and willingness to help me used prescription grade treatments. I always Love how my hair looks when I leave, and am almost always seen on time with very little waiting. I always get compliments on my locs and my color.?I would recommend him to anyone looking for a consistent, dependable stylist with diverse talents.

I had my first ever appointment scheduled last week. It was during an inclement weather storm. I called Dexter 2 days before to confirm that he had my phone number in case he wouldn’t be able to keep my appointment due to weather. He agreed to call me if he needed to cancel. On the day of the appointment I proceeded to go to his shop because I hadn’t heard otherwise from him that he wouldn’t make it. I waited 30 mins and then called him. Moments after leaving a voicemail he texts me “I may not have power and I’ll call you later”. I was sitting in front of his shop in which all of the attached businesses had power. It has now been days and still no call back to reschedule, no apology for wasting my time or not honoring his commitment to call ahead if he needed to reschedule. This is extremely poor customer service! If he can do this on a first appointment why would I ever promote or recommend his business to anyone? I absolutely would not. It’s unfortunate for him because I’m a very great client to have. I’m loyal and tip very well anyone who provides such services to me.
