Erica seems to be okay with her customer service skills, and seems to be a nice person. But Cornrows is not her expertise. I pay $120 for 7 cornrows just to get laugh out loud by friends and family when they look my hair. The front/back of my hair unaligned, the ends of the braids where unfinished and uneven she did hide them in a bunch, I couldn’t ever wear them down, the front head she couldn’t get my edges – the back hair of my head were left out, you need to be very very good at it to get the back of my hair as I’m aware that they’re short. Cornrows were very loose, last less than a week.

The salon is very clean and a welcoming environment. The staff here are absolute professionals who value your time and will take care of you 100%. I had a silk press with Ariana. Ariana arrived early before my appointment, made sure everything was cleaned/sanitized before we began, and was so gentle with my natural hair. I haven’t had my hair pressed in a few years and I can’t remember the last time I felt so special and cared for after leaving a salon. Ariana is such a sweetheart and I can’t wait for my next appointment with her. They also make it really easy to make appointments with the online scheduling tool on their website.

Thank goodness for Tresses of Love!! We’ve really needed more stylists who do Black hair in the suburbs south of Boston. Erica cut and styled my short natural hair.
