Please don’t give this lady your business. I bought a Groupon cause I wanted a little trim. I was probably going to be in there 20 min max. First the door was locked. The owner opened the door didn’t even let me in and asked if i had a stoller for my 3 YEAR OLD bc their was older people in the salon…. Whatever that means. Definitely not bc she’s worried about covid since not one person in there had mask. NOT MOMMY OR KID FRIENDLY SALON

I had a Brazilian Blowout today and wanted to leave a review this place deserves. The women were super nice and told me exactly what they were doing before they did it. They explained the process and how long it would take beforehand and even cleared up some questions I had when I clearly got a rushed version of this from another salon. I will definitely be recommending them and will be back again! Thank you so much!

I’ve been going to Tresses and Colours for a very long time. I walk out with a smile on my face every time. The stylists all know what they’re doing especially the owner who has been in business for over 20 years. It’s a shame that there is defamation of character in some of the reviews. ALL stylists and assistants are licensed and certified in everything they do. All licenses and certifications are on the wall of the salon making them highly visible. The Brazilian blowout is my absolute favorite treatment and the results just get better and better. It’s absurd that people who are not certified nor licensed try to say the treatement was done incorrectly. Just because you read things online does not mean the girls do the treatement incorrectly. Being under the dryer makes it safe for the recipients as well as everyone else in the salon. It’s a way of reducing the fumes and this does not change the outcome of the treatment. I can honestly say I have never been disappointed with the outcome and i will only allow the girls from Tresses & Colours to touch my hair. I also highly recommend the products for the home care of the Brazilian blow out. For ONLY $55 you get shampoo and conditioner that will last you about 60 washes as well as styling cream and thermal shine spray. It’s a great deal that keeps my treatment in for the maximum amount of time. I will always be grateful I came across this beautiful salon as well as the polite people inside who always take my concerns into matter. i highly recommend !!!

My experience with the Brazilian blowout at this place was not good. After 2 weeks, my hair was frizzing up. I get a Brazilian blowout twice a year and use the same products and the blowout has always lasted 4-5 months. I knew something was a little off when the owner was not breaking my hair up in smaller sections to apply the treatment correctly, but was doing it in large sections instead. When I called, she asked if I was using her products, I said no because I’ve used the same açaí Brazilian blowout products and I’ve never had an issue. She said I should have used her products and nothing could be done. Please do not go to this place for a Brazilian blowout, it will be a waste of money. If you do get it, please be sure they are parting your hair in small sections to apply the product the right way. Not a good way to do business and rip people off.

I was worried about having my Brazilian blowout here, because of the terrible reviews. However, I was extremely pleased with the results. What I don’t think people realize, is that when they hear keratin, or Brazilian, they think they are walking out of a salon with pin straight hair. It’s not happening unless you had pin straight here before you walked in ( which at that point, you wouldn’t need this treatment). The purpose of these treatments, is to reduce frizz, by adding healthy components to your hair, not completely straightening your hair. Also, people don’t realize that timing is the very thing. Once a month, when we as woman are “hormonal”, these treatments may be ineffective. I found that out the hard way after spending $250!!! Of course, using the proper shampoos matters as well. I did not buy their products. I use the regular keratin, sulfate free, sodium chloride free products, purchased at Ulta. So as long as you care for it appropriately, it should last. I have spent a lot of money on these treatments in the past, and I got the same results for $99!!!! So I am thrilled, and this will be my go to place now
